Nicklas Backstrom participated in the Capitals' full team practice Thursday. He was involved in all drills and did not hesitate engaging in contact. It seems that he did not sustain a concussion after all and he is scheduled to travel with the team to San Jose. "I'm doing all the steps that has to be made before I can play. I felt pretty good out there," Backstrom said. "You've got to push yourself to know exactly where you are but I had the history of migraines before too, it's kind of hard to tell. Whatever it is, it seems to be fine." The Caps and Backstrom owners seem to have dodged a bullet.
