Nicklas Backstrom netted his 100th career goal on Friday. Backstrom is known more for his playmaking abilities, but he is tied for second on the Capitals with 13 goals this season. More importantly, he's first on the team with 38 points. With 361 career points, he should be able to reach the 400 point milestone before the end of the 2011-12 campaign.
