Joffrey Lupul skated with Nazem Kadri and Leo Komarov during Wednesday's morning session.

Coach Randy Carlyle wants to get more offense from his team, but he also doesn't want Pittsburgh bench boss Dan Bylsma to match his checking line against Lupul and Phil Kessel. Kessel and Tyler Bozak were joined by Clarke MacArthur instead. Lupul has been held pointless in Toronto's first two games this year, but perhaps playing with Kadri, who has been the club's top forward in the early going, can snap him out of his funk.
