Jaromir Jagr's goal on Thursday tied him with Joe Sakic for eighth place on the NHL's all-time points list. Both players have 1,641 points. Barring an injury, Jagr should be able to finish the season in sole possession of eighth place. However, even if Jagr decides to extend his career beyond the 2011-12 season, it seems unlikely that Jagr will be able to close the 82 point gap that separates him and Mario Lemieux, who sits in seventh place on the points list. Jagr spent the previous three campaigns in the KHL and we can't help but wonder where he'd be in the NHL's all-time standings had he stayed in North America.
