Evgeni Malkin netted his first goal of the 2013 season in Wednesday's loss to Toronto.

His power-play marker late in the first period gave Pittsburgh a 1-0 lead, but they ended up losing their home opener by a score of 5-2. Malkin also received an end-of-match game misconduct to add 10 penalty minutes to his stats, which coach Dan Bylsma couldn't explain but fantasy owners probably welcomed with open arms. The Penguins center has collected five points after the team's first three games.
