David Desharnais registered his first two goals of the season in Montreal's 6-1 win over Buffalo Saturday.

Desharnais broke out last season with 16 goals and 60 points in 81 games with the Montreal Canadiens but needs to step up this season. "I've got to be better, I want to be better," he said. "There's nobody else that's going to feel sorry for me so I've just got to be better and I was tonight. I just want to keep going." The diminutive forward had a lot of success playing between wingers Max Pacioretty and Erik Cole last season and is still getting a lot of time on the power play this year. Desharnais is worth a look in 14-team leagues, especially if your league rewards power play point.
