Coach Peter Laviolette said Thursday the Philadelphia Flyers' struggles have nothing to do with goalie Ilya Bryzgalov.

Laviolette likened Bryzgalov's season thus far to a pitcher in baseball not getting enough run support from his offense, a fairly appropriate analogy considering Bryz's .924 save percentage and a 2.19 goals-against average thus far this season. The good news for Bryz is you have to think the Flyers will eventually start scoring, especially with Danny Briere back in the lineup, and that means Bryz's win total will eventually creep up.
