Brad Richards is excited to be back in the playoffs after he last appeared in the NHL's second season in 2007-08 with the Dallas Stars. "Getting to come here and play in New York is great, but this is exactly the reason why you want to go somewhere and get a chance," said Richards, who signed a lucrative nine-year, $60 million deal with the Rangers last summer. "We're in it now; we have a chance, the same chance that everybody else has to win the Stanley Cup. It's just great to have that feeling again, to be back in it." Richards won the Conn Smythe Trophy, as playoff MVP, back in 2004 with Tampa Bay and has recorded 62 points in 63 career postseason contests.
