Lundqvist didn't see the ice Friday, as rookie Alexandar Georgiev went the distance in the 4-1 road loss to the Wild.

EDGE Analysis

While the King was bumped off his throne to the tune of four straight losses before sitting out Thursday against the Canadiens, it appears that coach Alain Vigneault was trying to send him a message by sitting him for the second straight game. Georgiev set aside 33 of 37 shots which isn't all that bad given that he's such a green prospect, and he even added a big save on Eric Staal to the highlight reel. Unfortunately, with the Rangers out of playoff contention, we wouldn't expect Lundqvist to have many more chances to avenge for his latest run of dud performances.

Lundqvist surrendered four goals on 37 shots during Friday's 4-1 loss to Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

Make it five loses in a row for Lundqvist, and he's now sporting a mediocre 23-21-4 record, .914 save percentage and 2.89 GAA for the campaign. His fantasy setup could become worse with the Rangers likely to deal more talent before the trade deadline, too. If the luxury exists to be selective with Lundqvist's matchups moving forward, he probably shouldn't be relied on start-in, start-out. New York is already allowing the third most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (12.96) in the league, so it's hard to envision subtracting a few key pieces from the current roster helping.

Lundqvist allowed seven goals on 37 shots in a 7-4 loss to the Flyers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

It was the Swedish netminder's worst outing since he allowed seven goals in two periods during a game last season. Lundqvist had a weekend to forget, as he yielded 12 goals in five periods. Without backup Ondrej Pavelec (lower body), it's very likely the Rangers will ask Lundqvist to continue to work through this slump. Keep in mind, though, that Lundqvist is receiving very little help from his teammates these days. Even if he returns to the top of his game, there could be poor stat lines on the horizon.

Lundqvist will get the home start against Philadelphia on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Lundqvist was yanked after letting in five goals on 27 shots to the Senators on Saturday, and he's now lost three straight, logging a .879 save percentage in that span. The veteran netminder will have a chance to stop the slide against a streaky Flyers squad that has won five of six games, averaging 3.5 goals per game in that span. The Rangers haven't provided the ample offensive support in nine February games, though, averaging less than two scores per game, so consider Lundqvist a risky start in the second half of back-to-back matchups.

Lundqvist allowed five goals on 27 shots before exiting during the third period of a 6-3 loss to the Senators on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

Things have sunk pretty far for Lundqvist, but he is hardly to blame. The team around him as slowly deteriorated over the last few years, and it's come to a point this season. Unfortunately, that's reflected in the 35-year-old's stats. Lundqvist has a 2.80 GAA and .917 save percentage with 20 losses versus 23 victories. With this current version of the Rangers, Lundqvist's days as an elite fantasy option are finished.

Lundqvist will start in goal Saturday afternoon against host Ottawa, Jon Lane of NHL.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Lundqvist has been wildly inconsistent this season, but he's about to face a Senators club that ranks 25th in the league in goals per game (2.64) and one that is even worse on the man advantage, sitting 28th at 16.3 percent. Further to that point, the Rangers are in grave danger of missing the playoffs, so expect the King to do all he can to get this team back on track.

Lundqvist made 32 saves in Thursday's 3-0 loss to the Islanders.

EDGE Analysis

Lundqvist kept his team in it, allowing just one goal in each period. However, the injury-riddled lineup in front of him was unable to crack Islanders counterpart Jaroslav Halak despite firing 50 shots on net. While the veteran Swede's still capable of stealing wins against anyone, he's going to have to do it with a glorified AHL team around him, especially if the Rangers sell at the trade deadline as promised.

Lundqvist will guard the visitors' goal Thursday against the Islanders, Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

Lundqvist dropped another contest Tuesday against the Wild after seemingly getting back on track with a pair of wins against the Jets and Flames in the two games prior. The veteran netminder is in the midst of a second straight poor season statistically, owning a 23-18-4 record to go along with a 2.74 GAA and a .919 save percentage prior to Thursday's affair. Considering the Islanders tally 3.52 goals per game at home, it may be another rough night ahead for The King.

Lundqvist allowed three goals on 29 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

As has been the case way too often this season, Lundqvist was victimized by sloppy defensive play in front of him. The biggest culprit was the normally reliable Rick Nash, who allowed Zach Parise to knock the puck off his stick in Lundqvist's direction before accidentally prodding it over the goal line in his attempt to deny Parise a second chance. All three goals against Lundqvist came in the first 6:17, halting his momentum after a pair of impressive victories.

Lundqvist will tend the twine for Tuesday night's road game against Minnesota, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Lundqvist has bounced back nicely after a dreadful run that didn't see him win a game since Jan. 18 -- in his last two starts, King Henrik has allowed just three goals total while posting a .956 save percentage on his way to two wins. The veteran keeper will turn his attention to a Wild team that has scored 12 goals over its last three contests.
