Landeskog didn't register a point in Monday's 4-0 win over the Bruins, and he now has just a single goal and no assists through the first three games of the season.

EDGE Analysis

Landeskog is coming off a disappointing 2016-17 campaign, so it's discouraging to see him struggling to score to start this season. Additionally, Colorado is currently spreading out their talent across multiple lines, and Landeskog's playing with inexperienced youngsters J.T. Compher and Tyson Jost. The trio has potential, but another underwhelming fantasy showing could be in store for Landeskog.

Landeskog pounced on an errant Brian Campbell pass and beat Scott Darling with a wraparound goal for his 17th of the season Tuesday against Chicago.

EDGE Analysis

It was a fantastic individual effort by the Avalanche captain, who picked off the pass and beat two Blackhawks around the net before scoring. Landeskog is three goals away from 20 with three games remaining, and it'll be just the second time in six seasons he has failed to hit that mark. He's been a disappointment this season, but he's still very young with plenty of room to improve. He should still be a valuable fantasy contributor next season, because surely the Avalanche can't be this bad again.

Landeskog lit the lamp in a 5-2 loss Sunday to the Wild.

EDGE Analysis

The 24-year-old Swede hadn't found the back of the net in 12 games prior to Sunday, which is a drought that's contributed to a somewhat disappointing 16 goals this year. Landeskog's 30 points and minus-22 rating are by far the worst marks of his six-year career -- something that's due in large part to the struggles of the Avs as a whole this season -- so look for the captain to bounce back when he gets a clean slate to work with next fall.

Landeskog lit the lamp on the power play Tuesday night, helping his team to a 3-1 home win over the Hurricanes.

EDGE Analysis

Defenseman Tyson Barrie fired a laser that Landeskog deflected into the cage for his 15th goal of the season. With a bit more puck luck, the Swede could find himself with 20 or more goals for the fourth straight campaign, but he has just 13 assists and a career-worst minus-16 rating and that's been a real hindrance on his overall fantasy output.

Landeskog got Colorado's only goal in a 6-1 loss to Winnipeg on Saturday night. The goal broke the shutout bid with just 16 seconds left in the game.

EDGE Analysis

Landeskog's season has been largely forgettable -- he has just 27 points in 53 games and is in serious peril of missing the 50-point mark. He's been a perennial 20-goal, 50-point guy (other than the lockout year), so this year's output has soured him to most fantasy owners.

Landeskog scored twice and added an helper in Saturday's win over the Sabres.

EDGE Analysis

It was a much-needed offensive explosion from Landeskog, who had gone five straight games without recording a point. The 24-year-old has been up-and-down this season, posting 13 goals and 26 points in 50 games. He's gone on tears, but the team's struggles this season have hindered his ability to post strong totals overall. The captain is very talented, but don't expect a surge down the stretch given the team's position in the standings.

Landeskog finished with a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss against the Avalanche.

EDGE Analysis

Landeskog has markers in back-to-back games for the first time this season, and he is riding a four-game point streak with two goals and three assists. He has had a very trying campaign, as is evidenced by the fact his current run of four games with a point signifies a season high. Landeskog has the skill set to run off much lengthier streaks.

Landeskog scored a power-play goal and took eight shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

EDGE Analysis

Landeskog failed to light the lamp on any of his first seven attempts, but finally ended Matt Murray's shutout bid with 3:16 to play on his final shot. The 24-year-old Swede has been held to a measly 21 points in 41 games played, but he's showing signs of life with four points in his past three outings. Racking up a new season high in shots on goal is yet another step in the right direction.

Landeskog picked up a pair of assists with a plus-2 rating and a minor penalty in Tuesday's 4-0 win against the Canadiens.

EDGE Analysis

Landeskog has had a difficult time this season, posting just nine goals and 20 points with a disappointing minus-13 rating. Lately he has shown a little sign of life, picking up four assists over the past five outings. He will need to go on a major points binge over the rest of the season to reach his career averages, however.

Landeskog collected an assist, four PIM and four hits during Wednesday's loss to Vancouver.

EDGE Analysis

It's been a dreadful campaign for Landeskog, and the 24-year-old winger isn't a must-own player in most seasonal leagues. There is potential for him to heat up offensively, and he's still providing decent peripheral statistics (40 PIM and 82 hits) while logging huge minutes (19:04 with 2:32 on the power play), but expectations should be kept in check for the remainder of this season. However, this also could be a buy-low time in keeper/dynasty settings.
