Kulikov (lower body) is in the lineup for Thursday's clash with the Penguins.

EDGE Analysis

Kulikov has enjoyed a solid start to the 2017-18 campaign, notching one goal and two assists in five games, but he only totaled five points in 47 games with the Sabres last season, so his current level of production likely isn't sustainable. He'll skate in a third-pairing role Thursday against Pittsburgh.

Kulikov (lower body) might be eligible to return against the Penguins on Thursday, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Kulikov has been practicing with the team and is projected to return to the lineup; however, the team had just an optional skate prior to its clash with Pittsburgh, which means fantasy owners will have to wait until pre-game warmups for confirmation of the blueliner's status.

Kulikov (lower body) is considered week-to-week after suffering a lower-body injury, Paul Friesen of Winnipeg Sun reports.

EDGE Analysis

Kulikov has notched a trio of points in his last three outings, providing some additional blue line scoring outside of Dustin Byfuglien -- who just returned from a two-game absence of his own. The 26-year-old Kulikov will likely be replaced by Tucker Poolman on the Jets' third pairing for the duration of his absence.

Kulikov left Saturday's game against Carolina after going down with a lower-body injury and won't return.

EDGE Analysis

The Russian blueliner suffered the injury during the third period and failed to record any statistics in the 15:42 he played prior. With Winnipeg next playing Tuesday against Columbus, there should be further information about the nature of Kulikov's injury in the coming days.

Kulikov inked a three-year, $12.99 million contract with te Jets on Saturday, TSN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Kulikov's numbers took a sharp hit during his 2016-17 campaign in Buffalo, but it didn't penalize him on the free agent market. He collected just five points (two goal, three assists) over 47 games with the Sabres last season, but has reached or neared 20 points in the vast majority of his professional campaigns. His down year could drop push him fantasy boards heading into 2017-18, which could make the blueliner a sleeper during drafts.

Kulikov (upper body) returned to action Saturday and picked up a goal and an assist in a 5-2 victory over Toronto.

EDGE Analysis

And just like that, Kulikov doubled his point output for the season; he did it in 40 games. Nice game, but we just can't recommend him with production like that.

Kulikov (upper body) will rejoin the lineup Saturday against the visiting Maple Leafs.

EDGE Analysis

Including Kuli, the Sabres are expected to welcome back four players that had been dealing with ailments. Of course, the Russian has been a major liability for Buffalo and fantasy owners alike, adding only two points with an unsightly minus-17 rating through 39 contests this season. You can safely pass over him in virtually any format.

Kulikov (upper body) returned to practice Thursday and should be available Saturday against the Maple Leafs, barring any setbacks.

EDGE Analysis

With two points and a minus-17 rating through 39 games this season, Kulikov -- who last suited up on March 4 -- hasn't been a fantasy factor, but his pending return does bolster the Sabres' blue line depth as the team's stretch run approaches.

Kulikov (upper body) is not in the lineup for Friday night's showdown in Columbus.

EDGE Analysis

Kulikov will miss his third straight and the team has yet to establish a timeline for his return. Considering the Russian blueliner has one point and a minus-7 rating in his last 19 games, his absence isn't likely to affect most fantasy owners.

Kulikov (upper body) will miss Tuesday's contest against Philadelphia, Bill Hoppe of the Buffalo Times Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

The defenseman got injured in Saturday's game and wasn't able to go in Sunday's matchup with Pittsburgh either, making this two-straight missed. He won't be missed much offensively, with only two points in 39 games, but hit 21:31 will be split among the Sabres' other blue liners with Justin Falk taking over the majority of that time. Kulikov will have a chance to return again on Friday.
