Perron extended his point streak to six games Thursday, notching a goal and an assist in a win over the Canucks.

EDGE Analysis

Perron has been tearing it up recently and is now up to six goals and 17 points in 18 games. The top-six winger has been a revelation in Vegas and is also aiding fantasy goers with strong PIM and hit totals. It's unlikely he keeps up this point-per-game pace all season, but Perron is a dynamic goal-scorer who is consistent enough to warrant a look in almost all fantasy formats.

Perron went plus-2 with a goal and an assist apiece Friday night, helping the Golden Knights to a 5-2 home win over the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Perron is off to an excellent start to November, as he's extended his point streak to four games with one goal, five helpers and 17 hits over that span. That last bit is a bonus for fantasy owners involved in leagues that weigh heavily on the rough stuff.

Perron set up two goals in Saturday's 5-4 win over Ottawa.

EDGE Analysis

Perron's 10 points in 13 games is reminiscent of his 2013-14 season in Edmonton when he set a career mark in points with 57. He's a complementary player with great speed who's taking full advantage of the opportunity afforded him on an expansion team. Just beware his plus-minus -- Perron will be hard-pressed to stay on the positive side of that ledger, so his fantasy value in some formats will be clouded by that category.

Perron scored on a penalty shot while posting a minus-2 rating, three shots and four penalty minutes in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Rangers.

EDGE Analysis

Perron was awarded a penalty shot after Henrik Lundqvist brilliantly foiled him twice on the preceding breakaway. The third time was the charm for Perron, as he got his fourth goal of the season on the first penalty shot attempt in the history of the Vegas franchise.

Perron collected a goal and an assist Friday, contributing to a 7-0 dismantling of the Avalanche at home.

EDGE Analysis

The savvy veteran was one of 11 skaters to record at least one point for Vegas, helping the flashy new club advance to an incredible 8-1-0 record on the young season. It may still be too early to tell if this expansion team is for real, but the numbers don't lie -- Perron has a serviceable three goals, four helpers and plus-3 rating through nine games and he'll be a solid No. 2 or 3 fantasy forward so long as he stays healthy; that's been a problem in the past.

Perron scored a pair of goals, including the overtime game-winner, in a 5-4 win over Buffalo on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Perron registered an assist in three straight games earlier this season, but Tuesday night he finally scored a couple of his own. Along with his five points this year, the 29-year-old has put 17 shots on net and picked up 10 hits. Perron is locked in to a top-six role and has an important spot on the power-play unit, so he should be a consistent contributor for most of the season.

Perron didn't record a point, but dished out five hits, blocked a shot, and took a minor penalty in Sunday's 3-1 win against Boston.

EDGE Analysis

In the absence of any offensive production, Perron used his body to make an impact on the game, which is an ability that coaches tend to value and appreciate. This may be part of the reason that the 2007 first-round pick's power play time on ice jumped from 2:01 on Friday to 4:11 on Sunday. If Perron continues to receive a healthy diet of ice time with the man advantage it could pay dividends for his fantasy owners.

Perron was added to Vegas roster on Wednesday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports, citing a league source.

EDGE Analysis

These expansion picks were supposed to be kept close to the collective vest until the 2017 NHL Awards ceremony gets underway in Vegas on Wednesday evening, but at least in the case of Perron -- who only has one year remaining on his contract before he'll become an unrestricted free agent -- his moving to Sin City was a foregone conclusion. The 29-year-old spent six seasons with the Blues (2007-13), and he had stops in Edmonton, Pittsburgh and Anaheim before returning full circle to St. Louis this campaign. An oft-injured winger, Perron proved that he could still produce at a high level, as he recorded 46 points (18 goals, 28 assists) while playing in all 82 games for the first time since 2009-10. Conservative fantasy owners tend to shy away from a guy like Perron, and he may struggle with a franchise playing in its first year. However, we'll have a better read on Perron once the entire Golden Knights roster is unveiled.

Perron was left exposed for selection by the Golden Knights in the expansion draft.

EDGE Analysis

Perron has not spent consecutive seasons with a team since his first stint with St. Louis from 2007-2012 and could find himself on the move once again. Perhaps the one name on the Blues' protected list that would come as a surprise is Ryan Reaves who tallied just 13 points in 80 contests this past season. It would be easy to look strictly at a production level to compare Reaves and Perron -- who tallied 18 goals and 28 assists -- but the 30-year-old Reaves offers a grittier style and St. Louis are already stocked with goal-scorers. General manager Doug Armstrong is hard up against the cap ($6.4 million in space) so he could be hoping to shed Perron's $3.75 contract.

Perron scored his 18th goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 6-3 victory over the Panthers.

EDGE Analysis

It's been a surprisingly productive campaign for Perron, as he's delivered 46 points in 80 contests -- the first time since 2009-10 he's played this many games. Injuries have been a major reason behind his failures in recent years, but Perron hasn't missed a single tilt this time around. He's heading into the end of the regular season on a high note, having picked up three goals and three assists in the last five games.
