Bolland (illness) was on the ice for the Panthers' practice Monday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports. Bolland was expected to return to the lineup Thursday, and his presence at practice Monday does nothing to deter that. Assuming he doesn't suffer any recurrences over the next few days, he should be good to go.

Bolland (upper body) is expected to return to the Panthers' lineup next Thursday against the Jets, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Any concerns about Bolland's injury appear to have subsided at this point. The forward was actually slated to return a few days ago, before he became one of many Panthers players to fall victim to the stomach flu. He seems to be over the virus and was on the ice during Saturday's morning skate, but the Panthers will exercise some caution and keep him out for another game. Bolland should have plenty of time to nurse himself back to 100 percent health before next Thursday.

Bolland (upper body) has been skating and is very close to making his return, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Bolland has missed the last five games, but he may make it back for Tuesday's contest against Toronto. Once healthy, Bolland will likely replace Vincent Trocheck as the third-line center, even though Trocheck has made a decent case to keep the job.

Bolland (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Friday. The placement on injured reserve indicates Bolland will miss his fourth straight game Saturday, and it's unclear when he might be ready to return. He has yet to resume skating since suffering the apparent injury during last weekend's match against the Senators.

Bolland (upper body) wasn't present for the Panthers' morning skate Thursday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports. The Panthers were listing Bolland as day-to-day as recently as Sunday, but the fact that he hasn't resumed skating with the team suggests he's not as close to a return as his designation would imply. Bolland will miss a third straight game Thursday against the Blackhawks and looks likely to miss more action beyond that.

Bolland is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.Bolland has played in just 37 games this season due to injuries, and it the news likely rules him out for Sunday as well. If that is indeed the case, his next chance to rejoin the lineup will come Tuesday against the Blackhawks.

Bolland tallied a goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 6-2 rout of the Ducks.Bolland's quietly posted five points over his last five games, but he can't be counted on for consistent offensive production even with the 19-plus minutes of ice time he's seen in each of the last two games. And despite the man-advantage point in this one, his power-play time remains fairly minimal.

Bolland tallied a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers. Bolland has just 12 points on the year, but four of those have come in his last five contests. It's a nice little stretch for the 28-year-old, but it likely won't turn into anything much more than what it already is.

Bolland finally potted his first goal as a Panther on Tuesday, but it came in an 8-2 loss to Winnipeg. It took him 20 games to get that first one, but the monkey's finally off his back. Of course, scoring isn't really Bolland's game, as his game is that of a third-line grinder, even if he's playing a bigger role than that for Florida right now.

Bolland gathered two assists and finished with a plus-3 rating in Friday's triumph over the Flames. It's the first multi-point game of the season for Bolland, who is still in search of his first goal after 18 games. He saw an increased role Friday with Aleksander Barkov (illness) unavailable, but don't expect it to spark much meaningful production.
