Flynn was placed on waivers by the Devils on Sunday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn failed to make the Devils' roster out of camp and will report to the team's AHL affiliate in Utica. The 33-year-old Massachusetts native is back in North America after spending the previous three seasons in the Swiss league, so it's no surprise that Flynn was unable to stick with the big club.

Flynn signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Devils on Wednesday, per CapFriendly.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn spent the last three years in the Swiss National League, including the last two seasons with HC Ambri-Piotta. He amassed 67 points in 99 contests with Ambri-Piotta, and now he'll return to North American hockey. Flynn is expected to begin 2021-22 with AHL Utica, the Devils' new farm team.

The Blues placed Flynn on unconditional waivers Friday, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn will thus have his contract terminated by the Blues, likely making him a free agent barring a claim from another club. The 30-year-old pivot has collected just nine points over 21 games for AHL San Antonio this season and will now be looking for work with another organization.

Flynn was waved by the Blues on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's never a good sign for a player's fantasy prospects when he gets waived in the middle of training camp. Flynn is no exception.

Flynn signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Blues on Sunday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn didn't play an NHL game with the Stars organization last season, compiling 47 points in 66 games with AHL Texas instead. The adjustment to the Blues will likely keep him in Texas, as Flynn is expected to be relegated to AHL San Antonio.

Flynn was waived by the Stars on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Per Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site, Flynn was waived with the intent of being assigned to AHL Texas, but considering his history of solid bottom-six, it's entirely likely that he could be claimed by another team. Either way, he's not much of a fantasy asset in most formats.

Flynn agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Stars on Saturday worth $700,000, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn is nothing if not consistent as he recorded 10 points in each of the past two seasons. In 51 appearances for the Canadiens last year, the center averaged 12:04 of ice time, including 1:30 on the penalty kill. The 28-year-old will likely fill a similar role in Dallas as a depth player utilized in shorthanded situations.

Flynn will not be offered a new contract by the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn played in just 51 contests this past season and registered a mere 10 points. After back-to-back seasons in which he played fewer than 60 games, the 28-year-old will have to look elsewhere to extend his career. Even if the 28-year-old can land a spot on another club -- something that is by no means a lock -- he probably won't offer much in terms of fantasy value.

Flynn (upper body) is back to full health, but will be scratched from the lineup Tuesday against Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn has logged just two games in the Canadiens' last 14 due to injury or as a healthy scratch, so it shouldn't be too surprising coach Claude Julien is in no rush to slot the winger back into the lineup. Given his inability to secure regular ice time even when healthy, the 28-year-old remains a low-end fantasy option.

Flynn (upper body) is listed among the injured ahead of Saturday's game against the Senators, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flynn has missed the past seven games, though it's worth noting that he's not showing on injured reserve. Of course, when looking at the game logs over the course of the season, it's difficult to differentiate when he was held out of due to injury from the contests in which he merely watched from the press box as a healthy scratch.
