Saad recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 7-1 blowout win over the Capitals.

EDGE Analysis

It's been a disappointing reunion campaign for Saad after being brought back to Chicago in the Artemi Panarin trade over the summer, as he has just 15 goals and 27 points in 59 contests. With two goals and an assist in his last two games, the Blackhawks can only hope the two-time Stanley Cup-winner is rounding into form late in the season, so fantasy owners should pick him up if still available before he's back on the radar again.

Saad is leading all skaters who've played at least 25 games this season in Corsi For percentage with a value of 59.0.

EDGE Analysis

This proves that the Blackhawks dominate possession when Saad is on the ice during five-on-five situations. He's been averaging 2:42 of power-play ice time and 1:49 on the penalty kill, but hasn't etched the scoresheet on special teams save for a lone man-advantage goal. Saad needs to do more than produce at even strength to enthrall a larger fantasy audience, and with 13 goals and 10 helpers through 49 games, he needs to go on a nice run to finish with at least 52 points for the fourth straight season.

Saad scored a goal Sunday in Chicago's 4-1 win over Edmonton and extended his current scoring streak to four games.

EDGE Analysis

The streak has come at a much-needed time. Saad has six points (two goals, four assists) in those four games, but he still has just 23 points in 41 games. He's at risk of missing the 50-point mark for the first time since 2013-14. Saad, Jonathan Toews and Vinnie Hinostroza seem to have developed some real chemistry of late, so let's hope this results in continued production.

Saad had two assists in a 5-4 loss to the Golden Knights on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

With the help of Saad's two assists, the Blackhawks screamed back to from a two-goal deficit twice to take the lead in the third period, but the Golden Knights responded with the final two goals of the night. Near the midway point of the season, Saad is on pace to match his 24 goals from last season, but he only has 10 assists. The lack of helpers in 2017-18 could mean he doesn't reach the 50-point total for the first time since 2013-14. However, Saad is improving in that category -- he has four assists in the last three games.

Saad compiled two points -- a goal and an assist -- in Tuesday night's 3-2 overtime win over the Panthers at home.

EDGE Analysis

Rookie Alex DeBrincat danced around the net and delivered a one-timer to Saad for the game's first goal, and then Saad -- who now has 11 goals and six assists through 31 games -- was the primary setup man on Jonathan Toews' game-tying tally in the third period.

Saad scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

EDGE Analysis

Saad had been in a miserable slump where he had just two points in his previous 15 games, so Saturday's two-point effort was a sight for sore eyes. Saad is not out of the woods yet, but we're hoping this game is a big step forward. Check your wire just in case someone has dropped him.

Saad recorded eight shots on goal through 19:48 of ice time (2:23 on the power play) during Thursday's 3-1 loss to Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

That makes 10 games and 28 shots since Saad's last goal, as he hasn't scored since Oct. 14 against Nashville. Additionally, the 25-year-old winger has just a single assist during the active 10-game goalless stretch. Saad scored six times and notched eight points through the first six games of the season, and he's locked into a go-to offensive role, so expect the offense to come sooner than later. This could prove to be a buy-low spot in all fantasy settings.

Saad has only tallied one goal and one assist in his last nine games.

EDGE Analysis

Saad enjoyed a red-hot start to the campaign, racking up five goals and two assists in the first four games of the season, but the 25-year-old winger has completely lost his groove since then. The Pittsburgh native is still locked into a top-six role, and he's also averaging 3:34 on the man advantage per game, so there's reason to believe he'll get back on track offensively sooner rather than later. His first chance to snap his three-game scoreless streak will come Saturday against Minnesota.

Saad tallied the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime victory against the Predators on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

That's already his sixth goal of the season, putting him a quarter of the way to his 24 scores from a season ago. In 2015-16, Saad scored a career-high 31 goals, which is a mark that seems attainable with the Pittsburgh native off to such a great start. Owners with game-winning goals as a category particularly love Saad right now, as four of his six goals have been game-winners.

Saad scored on one of his team-leading four shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Montreal.

EDGE Analysis

Saad gave Chicago a 2-1 lead with his fifth goal in four games just 19 seconds after Alex DeBrincat had tied the game late in the first period. His second stint with the Blackhawks is off to a tremendous start, as Saad has shown immediate chemistry with linemates Jonathan Toews and Richard Panik, both of whom assisted on his goal in this one.
