Ladd scored the game-winning goal and registered six shots on net during Monday's 3-1 win over Washington.

EDGE Analysis

The tally improves Ladd to eight goals and 15 points through 30 games for the season, and he's in line to coast past last year's 31 points. Additionally, his plus-13 rating is leaps and bounds better than his minus-14 mark from a year ago. Still, the veteran is far from a go-to asset and likely best left to deeper fantasy formats.

Ladd registered a goal, an assist, a minor penalty and a plus-2 rating during Friday's 5-4 overtime win against Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

This was the first multi-point showing of the campaign for the veteran winger, and he now has just five goals and six helpers through 22 games. Ladd has four consecutive 20-goal seasons and has now settled into a promising line with Mathew Barzal and Jordan Eberle. More consistent scoring is likely needed for Ladd to be a serviceable asset in most fantasy settings, but he's definitely someone to keep tabs on moving forward. The Islanders are scoring in bunches.

Ladd scored a goal, fired two shots, and landed three hits during Saturday's 5-3 win over the Lightning.

EDGE Analysis

The two-time Stanley Cup winner has been an enigma since he became an Islander and only has four goals and nine points in 19 games on the season. The 31-year-old winger is skating on the fourth line at the moment which significantly limits his fantasy upside in standard formats. Ladd has a decent shot to hit the 30-point mark again, but his upside is much lower than it was a few seasons ago so keep your expectations in check.

Ladd buried a highlight-reel wrister past Oscar Dansk in Monday's 6-3 home win over the Golden Knights.

EDGE Analysis

Controlling the puck just past the blue line, Ladd juked around a defender and fired blocker side for his third goal of the season. The B.C. native doesn't get a lot of fanfare in the fantasy realm these days, but he's still running at a half-point per game pace and there's value in that for owners in deeper settings.

Ladd's goal in the third helped his team earn a point in a 3-2 shootout loss to St. Louis on Monday

EDGE Analysis

Ladd's been heading the wrong way in terms of production in recent years, so he'll have to produce more consistently for fantasy owners to trust him. That said, two points in three games is a solid start for the winger's year.

Ladd wasn't asked to waive his no-movement clause ahead of Monday's deadline, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

EDGE Analysis

It's somewhat surprising that the team didn't ask Ladd to waive his no-trade clause to expose him to the Vegas expansion draft considering his contact, which many feel is an albatross (six years left at an AAV of $5.5 million). Ladd underwhelmed last season, his first with the Isles, producing just 31 points to go with a career-worst minus-14 rating in 78 games while averaging just 16:11 of ice time -- his lowest since 2009-10. Regardless, the 31-year-old won't be going anywhere and will look to turn things around in Brooklyn when play resumes in October.

Ladd scored on a third-period power play Wednesday, and the goal held up as the game-winner in a 3-2 victory over the Rangers.

EDGE Analysis

It's been a tough first year in New York for Ladd, but at least he's now reached 20 goals for the sixth time in his career. Of course, he also has only eight assists and a minus-12 rating, so his fantasy owners haven't exactly been enjoying the ride. Ladd is only 30 years old, but he's got a lot of mileage, so it's far from clear that he'll ever return to his old 50-to-60-point level.

Ladd's 19th goal of the season against the Canucks on Thursday gave them their second straight win.

EDGE Analysis

That's two straight games now in which Ladd has scored, bouncing back from an ugly minus-3 performance against Calgary on Sunday. With 25 points in 62 games, Ladd's first year on Long Island has been a huge bust. He was expected to help fill the void left by Frans Nielsen and Kyle Okposo, but despite his 17.0 shooting percentage has done very little for the Islanders offense. He's averaging the lowest ice time of his career since 2009, and his fantasy value has steadily declined over the past two seasons.

Ladd (back) took line rushes in pregame warmups and will play Thursday night's game in Dallas.

EDGE Analysis

Ladd won't miss any games as a result of the pesky ailment and is slated to skate on the Islanders' second line with Brock Nelson and Josh Ho-Sang on Thursday night. It will be interesting to see if the addition of Ho-Sang to the line will be enough to break Ladd out of his three-game point-less streak.

Ladd missed practice Monday due to a back injury, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

EDGE Analysis

The injury is not considered to be serious and Ladd is fully expected to play when the schedule resumes for the Islanders on Thursday in Dallas. After a terribly slow start to the season Ladd has picked it up of late with four goals in his last seven games.
