Walker has an ACL injury that will cause him to miss the entire 2016 season, Mike Klis of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Walker was carted off the field during Monday's practice, and an MRI confirmed the worst case scenario. The veteran defensive lineman was projected to backup Derek Wolfe on the left side of the line this season. Calvin Heurtelou now figures to slide into that role.

Walker was carted off the field on Monday after suffering what an injury to his right leg, Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Walker was returning to practice on Monday after missing time due to a back injury before he went down early on in practice. He was later seen leaving the Broncos' team facility using crutches and wearing a leg brace. He'll undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury in the near future. Look for Calvin Heurtelou to see some extra reps with Walker out.

Malik Jackson bolted from Denver to Jacksonville, The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson's payday leaves Walker as the most likely starter opposite Derek Wolfe on Denver's front. Walker registered 33 tackles and two sacks in a jack-of-all-trades role in 2015, but didn't join Denver's sack parade in the playoffs. More of a run stuffer than pass rusher, don't expect Walker to recreate Jackson's production should he manage to hold onto the starting job. More likely, Denver will use Kenny Anunike or an import in pass-rushing situations.

Walker agreed to a two-year, $4 million contract with the Broncos on Thursday, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports. Walker will bolster Denver's defensive line rotation, after providing 19 tackles and two sacks for the division-rival Chiefs last season. He may end up starting but won't be on the IDP radar.

Walker was released by the Chiefs on Friday, ESPN's Adam Teicher reports. Released after just one season of a three-year contract, Walker recorded 19 tackles (14 solo) and two sacks over 16 games in 2014. He shouldn't have much trouble catching on elsewhere, but he's not a threat to establish IDP value.

Walker recorded a sack Sunday against the Titans. Walker figures to serve as the replacement for Mike DeVito along the defensive line following his season-ending injury Sunday. Although he recorded a sack Sunday, it is unlikely he will contribute enough to warrant a pickup in IDP leagues.

Chiefs agreed to terms with DL Vance Walker, formerly of the Raiders. Walker was scheduled to visit the Packers next but won't make the trip. The soon-to-be 27-year-old can push the pocket some and play the run. He's mainly been a 4-3 defensive tackle but could replace Tyson Jackson at left end in Kansas City's 3-4. Walker started 15 games in 2013, amassing 40 tackles and three sacks.
