Brady announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he is retiring as an NFL player "for good."
EDGE Analysis
The 45-year-old signal-caller thus ends his stellar 23-year pro career as the league's all-time leader in passing yards (89,214) and touchdown passes (649). This past season, Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, five-time Super Bowl MVP and three-time NFL MVP, threw for 4,694 yards and 25 touchdowns in his third and final campaign with the Buccaneers.

Brady completed 35 of 66 passes for 351 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Buccaneers' 31-14 wild-card loss to the Cowboys on Monday night. He also committed a fumble but recovered and threw a two-point conversion pass.
EDGE Analysis
The legendary signal-caller's likely final game of his three-year stay in Tampa Bay was fairly underwhelming for the most part, with Brady forced to the air constantly due to game script after a regular season where he also recorded a career-high 733 pass attempts. The massive volume helped prop up his final numbers, and both of Brady's touchdown passes, a 30-yarder to Julio Jones as time expired in the third quarter and an eight-yard strike to Cameron Brate with 2:04 remaining, came after the game was out of reach for all practical purposes. The Cowboys did a particularly effective job of taking away any deep opportunities, limiting Brady to 5.3 yards per attempt. Assuming he doesn't opt for retirement for a second straight offseason, Brady will head into the open market having thrown for 4,694 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions and also having posted one rushing score across 17 regular-season games.

Brady completed 13 of 17 passes for 84 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in the Buccaneers' 30-17 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Brady and the rest of his starting offensive mates got some good work in as expected, and the future Hall of Fame quarterback tuned up for the postseason with an efficient performance mostly centered on short passes. Brady capped off a game-opening 10-play, 70-yard march with an eight-yard touchdown toss to Kyle Rudolph, and he ultimately threw his last pass of the afternoon with 5:38 remaining in the first half. The Buccaneers now turn their attention to a wild-card home matchup against a to-be-determined opponent next weekend.

Coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday that Brady will start Sunday's game against Atlanta, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brady won't necessarily play the entire game, with Bowles mentioning Wednesday that third-stringer Kyle Trask is likely to be active for the game, though Blaine Gabbert will be next to play if Brady comes out early. With Tampa Bay locked into the fourth seed for the NFC playoffs, Brady is unlikely to take all the snaps Sunday in Atlanta.

Brady completed 34 of 45 passes for 432 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions and added three rushes for four yards and another score in the Buccaneers' 30-24 win over the Panthers on Sunday. He also threw a two-point conversion pass.
EDGE Analysis
Brady tied his highest passing yardage total in a Bucs uniform with Sunday's spectacular production, which saw him rekindle the long-dormant connection with top target Mike Evans in memorable fashion. Brady connected with his veteran wideout for three long touchdowns of 63, 57 and 30 yards down the right sideline, the latter two in the fourth quarter to bring the Buccaneers back from 11 points down. The future Hall of Fame signal-caller then essentially sealed the game, and the NFC South crown, for Tampa Bay with a one-yard scoring sneak with 1:58 remaining that gave his squad some valuable breathing room. Brady has now thrown for at least 281 yards in four of his last five games and also went without an interception for the first time in the last five contests Sunday, but it's possible he plays less than a full game in a Week 18 road clash against the Falcons if there is no improvement in playoff positioning possible.

Brady completed 32 of 48 passes for 281 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the Buccaneers' 19-16 overtime win over the Cardinals on Sunday night. He also rushed twice for one yard.
EDGE Analysis
Much of the first three quarters-plus of Sunday's contest was another struggle for Brady and the other members of the Buccaneers' air attack, with the future Hall of Famer frequently misfiring and slogging through another multi-interception performance. However, the offense finally seemed to find its rhythm on an early fourth-quarter drive after the Cardinals had taken a 10-point lead, with Brady focusing heavily on short passes to Leonard Fournette to move the ball down the field and eventually capping off the drive with a three-yard touchdown pass to Rachaad White. Tampa Bay was subsequently able to notch a game-tying field goal on the next possession, and Brady then helmed a nine-play, 66-yard march on the team's only possession of overtime to set up Ryan Succop's game-winning 40-yard field goal. The win allowed the Bucs to retain control of the top of the NFC South for the moment, but a critical clash against the second-place Panthers at Raymond James Stadium awaits next Sunday.

Brady completed 30 of 44 pass attempts for 312 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-23 loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Brady turned in one of his finer fantasy performances of the season despite his team choking away a two-score lead in the second half. It was the ageless wonder's second game with at least 300 passing yards and three touchdowns this season. It was also Brady's second consecutive week with two interceptions after throwing just three over his previous 12 contests. He was also credited with two lost fumbles, but one of the two was the result of Leonard Fournette botching a handoff. The 45-year-old is still performing at a high level this season with 3,897 passing yards on a 67 percent completion rate. Brady and the Bucs will look to end their recent losing streak in a soft matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Brady completed 34 of 55 passes for 253 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions in Sunday's 35-7 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the massive volume, Brady had little luck moving the ball, and his one TD pass to Russell Gage came in the third quarter after the Buccaneers were already staring at a 35-0 deficit. Tampa Bay's difficulty running the ball continues to force the 45-year-old QB to try and do everything himself. Brady's attempted 50 or more passes five times this season, and 40-plus in 10 of the last 11 games, but he hasn't reached 300 passing yards since Week 8. He likely won't have the luxury of slowing down Week 15 during a showdown with Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

Brady completed 36 of 54 passes for 281 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Buccaneers' 17-16 win over the Saints on Monday night. He also netted minus-1 yard on one rush.
EDGE Analysis
Limited for most of the game by a Saints defense that's given him plenty of trouble since he arrived in Tampa in 2020, Brady and his pass catchers suddenly sprung to life at desperation time. The future Hall of Famer helmed 11- and 10-play drives totaling 154 yards over the Buccaneers' final two possessions, capping those marches off with one- and six-yard touchdown tosses to rookies Cade Otton and Rachaad White, respectively. Brady's yardage total was his second highest against New Orleans in the last three seasons, and he's now thrown a pair of touchdown passes in three consecutive games. The win evens the Bucs' record at 6-6 and gives them the inside track to the NFC South crown, but a daunting challenge awaits on the road in Week 14 against the 49ers.

Brady completed 29 of 43 passes for 246 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Buccaneers' 23-17 overtime loss to the Browns on Sunday. He also rushed once for two yards.
EDGE Analysis
Brady's final numbers were perfectly adequate from a fantasy perspective, but he repeatedly failed to move the Buccaneers late in regulation and overtime, leading to the team's sixth loss of the campaign. Brady took three sacks and was unofficially hit on another three occasions, and Tampa Bay was forced to punt on six of its last seven possessions, including overtime, with the exception of the final drive of regulation that culminated in a Hail Mary attempt. Brady did record touchdown passes to Chris Godwin and Ko Kieft of 10 and five yards, respectively, making it two straight games with multiple scoring tosses for the future Hall of Famer. Brady will aim for a much more efficient outing from a scoring perspective in a Week 13 Monday night home matchup against the division-rival Saints.
