Steven Sims Jr. Ruled Out For Week 4 rotoballer.com Fri 10/2/20 6:15 PM
Washington Football Team wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. (toe) has been ruled out for the team's Week 4 game versus Baltimore. Sims was held out of last week's game in Cleveland with the injury, and the fact that he's been ruled out for the game on Friday means his toe injury may be worse than originally thought. Sims being out should give a slight target bump to Dontrelle Inman, but he is a desperation play in the deepest of leagues only.
Steven Sims Likely To Suit Up Versus Browns rotoballer.com Fri 9/25/20 6:23 PM
Washington Football Team wide receiver Steven Sims Jr (toe) is expected to play versus the Browns on Sunday. Sims had five catches in Week 1, but had just three targets last week as Washington has struggled on offense. Sims had 50 and 53 yards in each of his two games and is touchdown-dependent to make an impact in fantasy. He is in the WR4/5 mix in deeper leagues but shouldn't be started in standard-size leagues.
Steven Sims Jr. Racks Up 53 Yards On Sunday rotoballer.com Mon 9/21/20 8:08 AM
Washington Football Team wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. caught 3-of-5 targets for 53 yards in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. Sims had the second-most targets of all Washington wide receivers as he's established himself as the top-option behind Terry McLaurin. As a result, Sims should see enough targets to warrant consideration in deeper fantasy leagues. The Washington offense has a good matchup vs Cleveland in Week 3 so Sims has some FLEX appeal in deeper fantasy leagues.
Cardinals Defense Performs Well In Week 2 rotoballer.com Sun 9/20/20 8:28 PM
The Cardinals Defense held the Washington Football Team to just 15 points in Week 2. Washington only scored three points in the first three quarters, but managed a few touchdowns with failed two-point conventions in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals sacked Washington quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. four times and also recovered a Haskins fumble as well as a Steven Sims Jr.fumble. The Cardinals have now turned in two-straight solid defensive efforts and have a favorable matchup against the ...
Steven Sims Jr. Should Be More Involved Vs Cardinals rotoballer.com Sat 9/19/20 11:35 AM
Washington Football Team wide receiver Steven Sims Jr only saw three targets last week, but should be more involved in Week 2 vs Arizona. Sims caught all three targets and turned them into 50 yards in a game where Washington only threw the ball 31 times. The Football Team will likely need to throw more this week as road-underdogs in a game with a higher over/under. Sims Jr should see plenty of targets with top-WR Terry McLaurin seeing coverage from All-Pro corner Patrick Peterson making him an...
Steven Sims Gains 50 Yards rotoballer.com Sun 9/13/20 9:51 PM
Washington Football Team wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. caught three passes for 50 yards in a win over the Eagles in Week 1. Sims was the second WR for Washington in most formations, but was targeted just three times as Washington ran the ball most of the second half. Sims has fantasy appeal in 14-plus team leagues as he should get more targets as the second WR in this offense. Managers in standard-size leagues, however, likely have bigger fish to fry for the first waivers cycle of the season ...
Steven Sims An Intriguing Sleeper For Washington rotoballer.com Sun 9/6/20 2:32 PM
Washington Football Team wide receiver Steven Sims finished the 2019 season strong and will look to carry that momentum into 2020. Over the last four weeks of last season, Sims made 20 catches for 230 yards and four touchdowns. He played primarily in the slot and should see plenty of snaps in that role this season. The Washington offense lacks playmakers behind Terry McLaurin and rookie Antonio Gibson so Sims should see plenty of targets, albeit on a bad offense. Sims is an intriguing sleeper...

BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~170 OverallCURRENT ADP: 180+ (Undrafted)ANALYSIS:Sims exploded over the final four games of the season last year, racking up20 receptions for 230 yards and four touchdowns. That was good for fantasy WR9 over that span. Washington Redskins wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. capped off a promising end to the season with five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys on Sunday. It was Sims' third consecutive game with at least five catches and a touchdown, a nice high note on which to head into the offseason. How the Redskins ultimately decide to frame their future, particularly because they own the second overall pick in the 2020 draft, remains to be seen. One thing would seem to be self-evident ...

Washington Redskins wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. has stepped up in a big way over the last two weeks, racking up 11 catches for 109 yards and three touchdowns. In Week 17 he will have a slight upgrade at quarterback in Case Keenum, and he might wind up as Washington's top receiving option if Terry McLaurin is held out due to a concussion. Sims has already been enjoying an uptick in opportunity after seeing 28 total targets in his last three outings; the door opens wider if McLaurin can't ...
