Mathews (groin) left Sunday's contest against the Dolphins due to a head injury, which was confirmed as a concussion.
EDGE Analysis
Before his departure, Mathews didn't produce much on his typical allotment of touches, turning eight carries into 18 yards and two receptions (on three targets) for 22 yards. However, one first-quarter rush resulted in a touchdown, thereby salvaging his day. With the head injury in tow, his eventual return to the field will be subject to the concussion protocol, placing a cloud over his Week 11 availability against the Buccaneers.

Mathews (groin) is active Sunday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Mathews practiced in full all week, so the announcement Sunday comes at no surprise. Lead back Demarco Murray (groin) is active for the contest as well, so look for the carry distribution to follow a similar pattern to the last few weeks. Even though Mathews played just 22 offensive snaps Week 9, he still tallied 67 rushing yards and a touchdown, so his value isn't necessarily dependent on Murray's health. There should be plenty of opportunities for both backs to tally up rushing yards Sunday, as the Dolphins check in at No. 31 in the league with 142.1 rushing yards allowed per contest (although they've surrendered just seven touchdowns on the ground).

Mathews (groin) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Mathews was a full practice participant throughout the week, after posting an 11-67-1 rushing line in Sunday's win over the Cowboys. He's still playing second fiddle to DeMarco Murray, but few backup running backs get a comparable workload.

Mathews carried the ball 11 times for 67 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being limited in the week of practice leading up to Sunday's divisional showdown, Mathews looked strong, as he has all season long. He continues to embrace the role of spell back, with fellow running back DeMarco Murray getting the brunt of the workload on the ground. Mathews is on pace for over 1,000 yards of offense this season despite his limited use in head coach Chip Kelly's offense, and continues to be a good flex option in deep leagues.

Mathews (groin) is active for Sunday's game in Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Mathews missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but then logged a full session Friday. He'll likely see at least a handful of touches behind DeMarco Murray, though he hasn't reached double-digit carries since Week 3.

Mathews (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
The Eagles' final Week 9 injury report lists Mathews as a full practice participant Friday, but given the official questionable tag, the running back's status will need to be monitored as Sunday's 8:30 ET kickoff approaches. In seven games for the Eagles this season, Mathews has averaged a healthy 6.1 yards per rush, but the only contest in which he logged double-digit carries occurred in Week 3, when starter DeMarco Murray was unavailable.

Mathews (groin) didn't practice Thursday, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coming out of the Eagles' Week 8 bye, Mathews was a week and a half removed from the groin injury suffered on Oct. 25 against the Panthers. He proceeded to practice both Tuesday and Wednesday, albeit on a limited basis, making Thursday's absence a curious development. Ultimately, head coach Chip Kelly will have a better handle on Mathews' availability Sunday at Dallas following the final practice of the week.

Mathews (groin) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
In the Eagles' last game before a Week 8 bye, Mathews suffered a groin injury, but it didn't stop him from racking up 97 rushing yards on the back of a 63-yard touchdown run. Although he's limited to start the week, his availability for Sunday night's game at Dallas could receive clarification as the week goes on, especially if he logs a full practice at some point.

Mathews (groin) participated in Tuesday's practice, Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mathews injured his groin during the Eagles' last game in Week 7, but it appears he was able to heal up during the Eagles' Week 8 bye. Expect him to play a complimentary role behind DeMarco Murray when the Eagles return to action Sunday against the Cowboys.

Mathews injured his groin during Sunday night's loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Mathews' injury apparently came on his 22-yard run, which preceded his 63-yard touchdown during the third quarter of Sunday's game. Knowing that, Mathews' touchdown play becomes more impressive, and the injury explains why he only got the ball three times after the score. Fortunately for Mathews and his fantasy owners, the Eagles now enter their bye week, which should give him a timely opportunity to gain some rest and treatment.
