Scandrick was released by the Eagles on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick signed with the Eagles in late September and delivered two sacks, two forces fumbles and a touchdown in his team debut, but the team apparently wasn't happy with his performance over the last two games. The veteran cornerback will now look to continue his 2019 season elsewhere.

Scandrick was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to an illness.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick had an impressive debut with the Eagles on Sunday with two sacks, two forced fumbles and a touchdown, but he started this week not practicing since he's under the weather. It's unclear if the illness is expected to impact his availability for Week 6.

Scandrick registered two sacks, forced two fumbles and returned one for a touchdown in Sunday's 31-6 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick was signed since the Eagles were beat up in the secondary, and he immediately made an impact. His season debut was highlighted by a play where he ripped the ball out of Luke Falk's hands and ran it back for a touchdown. It'll be hard for the veteran cornerback to repeat this performance at any point this season, but he's worth keeping an eye on in IDP leagues.

Scandrick agreed to a deal with the Eagles on Friday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick spent training camp with the Eagles before getting released during final roster cuts. However, a plethora of injuries at at cornerback have resulted in his return to the squad. He could potentially see some playing time right out the gate.

Scandrick was released by the Eagles on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick was a mainstay in Dallas for his first nine professional seasons before spending 2018 in Kansas City. The veteran was presumably a tough cut for the Eagles as they narrow down their player pool to 53. Should he not find a new destination immediately, he could be eligible to return to Philadelphia by Week 2.

Scandrick inked a contract with the Eagles following a workout Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick will add to the depth at corner for the Eagles, after he racked up 44 tackles (38 solo) and on interception in 15 games for the Chiefs last season. The signing comes at an opportune time for Scandrick, as fellow corners Ronald Darby (knee) and Cre'von LeBlanc (foot) are dealing with injury. The veteran could definitely warrant playing time during the regular season should injuries and his play pick up.

Scandrick's presence on the Kansas City roster made David Amerson expendable, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Amerson did himself no favors with a poor showing this preseason, but he might have stuck around anyway if the Chiefs hadn't added Scandrick, who could be in the mix for regular snaps as the team's nickelback. Steven Nelson and Kendall Fuller likely will be the starting cornerbacks.

The Redskins are releasing Scandrick, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite signing a two-year contract with a $1 million signing bonus in March, the 31-year-old cornerback didn't even come close to making it to Week 1 with his new team. The Redskins must have confidence in their young cornerbacks behind Josh Norman, with Quinton Dunbar expected to fill the other starting job while Fabian Moreau figures to serve as the nickelback. Scandrick may still end up on a 53-man roster for Week 1, as his experience playing the slot could lead to interest from teams in need of a nickelback or dimeback. He was bothered by back spasms at the beginning of training camp, but he seems to be healthy now.

Scandrick was held out of Saturday's practice due to back spasms, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scandrick's back spasms are not believed to be of the serious magnitude but anything back-related is always wise to keep an eye on. Expect Washington to play this one particularly safe not willing to risk losing Scandrick for an extended period of time. In the meantime, Quinton Dunbar will take over Scandrick's duties at corner during his temporary absence.
