The Eagles plan to sign Austin (kidney) if he passes a physical with the team, philly.com reports. Prior to sustaining a season-ending kidney injury last year, Austin caught 47 passes for 568 yards and two TDs in his first campaign with the Browns. If he joins the Eagles -- Austin, who turns 31 on June 30, would provide the team's wideout corps with added depth and experience, following the loss of Jeremy Maclin in free agency. As it stands, Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff currently top the Eagles' depth chart at receiver.

Austin (kidney) is expected to be released from the hospital Wednesday night, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Austin was placed on injured reserve earlier on Wednesday, indicating that the kidney injury he suffered Sunday in Buffalo was indeed serious. He will reportedly head back to Cleveland in the near future, but will not return to game action this season. With Austin out, Josh Gordon figures to see a lot of targets for the remainder of the season with Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel being the top candidates for added work.

Austin, who suffered a kidney injury in Sunday's loss to the Bills, has been placed on IR, the Browns' official site reports. Austin, who remains in the hospital at this time, finishes the season with 47 catches for 568 receiving yards, with two touchdowns. With Austin out for the season, top wideout Josh Gordon will no doubt remain busy going forward, with the likes of Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel candidates to see added looks down the stretch.

Austin (kidney) will spend a third night in the hospital Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. Coach Mike Pettine is expected to provide an update on Austin's status Wednesday, but word out of Cleveland is that Austin is being held for precautionary reasons. The 30-year-old receiver was hospitalized following Sunday's loss to the Bills, a game in which Austin set season highs in receptions (7) and yards (86).

Austin (kidney) is dealing with a "more serious" injury than originally anticipated, and will once again stay in the hospital overnight Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Austin suffered a kidney injury in Sunday's contest, and was immediately taken to the hospital following the loss, where he stayed overnight. It looks like it will be two consecutive nights in the hospital for Austin, who's health is clearly of greater concern to coach Mike Pettine than his Week 14 availability. Despite the injury, Austin was still able to catch 7-of-9 targets in the game, and lead the team with 86 receiving yards. If he's unable to suit up for Week 14 and beyond, look for Andrew Hawkins to be the main beneficiary, with Travis Benjamin and Taylor Gabriel also representing outside candidates for an increased offensive snap count.

Austin has been diagnosed with a kidney injury, and he will stay overnight at a Buffalo-area hospital, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Austin was taken to the hospital because of abdominal pain, which apparently is originating from his kidney. He's surprisingly been more active in the two games since Josh Gordon returned from a suspension, catching 13 passes for 150 yards on 17 targets.

Austin was taken to the hospital following Sunday's loss to the Bills due to abdominal pain, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Austin finished Sunday's game with seven catches on nine targets for a team-high 86 yards, but his status will now be worth monitoring in the coming days to see if his ailment is something that could affect his Week 14 availability.

Austin caught six passes on eight targets for 64 yards in Sunday's victory over the Falcons. Austin had been in line to see his role decrease upon the return of Josh Gordon, but he ended up with his highest receiving yards total of the 2014 season. This may have been partially due to the game flow and the Browns' need pass heavy near the end, but it was certainly encouraging to anyone clinging on to hope that Austin would be productive from a fantasy standpoint this season. He'll face a much tougher matchup next week, however, as the Bills are tied for third fewest passing touchdowns allowed (14) in the league entering Sunday.

Austin caught three passes on eight targets for 31 yards in Sunday's loss to the Texans. Austin was the third most frequently targeted receiver for the Browns, but wasn't able to turn that into much fantasy production, as the offense as a whole struggled Sunday. Austin has seen double-digit targets just once this season, and that likely won't change any time soon with star wideout Josh Gordon set to make his return in Week 12. Despite a favorable matchup against a 32-ranked Atlanta pass defense, Austin's fantasy value is trending downward at the moment.

Austin caught 5-of-6 targets for 48 yards in Thursday's 24-3 win over the Bengals. With Andrew Hawkins (knee/thigh) and TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) sidelined, Austin led the team in targets, followed by fellow wideouts Taylor Gabriel and Travis Benjamin, both of whom had five. The Browns attempted just 23 passes and gave a combined 48 carries to their three-headed backfield. Austin did well with his limited opportunities, but he still hasn't topped six receptions or 54 yards in a game this season. With Hawkins quite possibly back for next week, and Josh Gordon returning for Week 12, Austin will soon have a hard time matching the modest numbers he has recorded for most of the year.
