Pouncey (hip) could begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list, Adam H. Beasley of The Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Pouncey hasn't taken part in OTAs in any capacity this offseason due to a recurring hip injury. Instead, he's been doing rehab work on the sidelines while his teammates are on the field. The goal is for Pouncey to play an entire 16-game slate in 2017, so don't expect the Dolphins to let him suit up until he's 100-percent healthy, and if that means starting him off on the PUP list to begin training camp, so be it.

Pouncey (hip) is present, but not participating during the Dolphins' first round of OTAs, James Walker of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

As expected, the Dolphins will proceed cautiously with Pouncey after he underwent a stem cell procedure in April. It's unclear at this point if he'll be ready for the start of training camp, but he remains on pace to at least be available by the time Week 1 of the regular season rolls around.

Pouncey (hip) had a stem cell procedure "within the past few weeks" and will require crutches to move about for the time being, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

Pouncey remains in rehabilitation from a season-ending hip injury but isn't expected to need crutches much longer. Thankfully he hasn't experienced any kind of setback in his recovery and shouldn't require any additional surgery. While Miami management will likely treat Pouncey with extreme caution throughout the remainder of the offseason -- and could potentially hold him out for the majority of the preseason as well -- the three-time All-Pro center remains on track to play in the Dolphins' regular season opener against the Buccaneers, according to Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald.

Pouncey (hip) said he will be healthy "long before" the start of the 2017 season, The Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

A hip injury limited Pouncey to five games in 2016 and his absence had a noticeably adverse effect on the Dolphins' run game. His impending return to full health bodes especially well for the prospects of breakout rusher Jay Ajayi in 2017.

Pouncey (hip) won't need surgery, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Pouncey is on injured reserve and won't return this season. Pouncey believes he is ready to play now but the Dolphins didn't want to risk a career ending injury and thus played it safe with their number one center.

Pouncey (hip) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

After missing the past four games, the Dolphins decided to shut down their starting center for the remainder of the year in the hopes that he will be able to make a full return next season. Anthony Steen will start at center for the remainder of the season.

Pouncey (hip) is expected to miss his fifth consecutive game Saturday against the Jets in New York, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Pouncey has only managed active status four times this season due to a nagging hip injury, which required surgery in the offseason. Anthony Steen will get the call at center as long as Pouncey is sidelined.

Pouncey (hip) did not practice Wednesday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Pouncey has missed three consecutive games due to the hip issue, and at this point there's no guarantee he'll be able to return throughout the rest of the season. Anthony Steen is slated to continue starting at center during Pouncey's potential absence.

Head coach Adam Gase said he's hopeful Pouncey (hip) will play again this season, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Pouncey missed the past three games with a recurring hip issue. There would be much more concern surrounding his injury if surgery was required, but that isn't the case. If it had been, Pouncey likely would have been landed on IR already. So, it appears only time will tell when the former first-rounder will be able to return to the starting lineup.
