Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn Will Play rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 3:39 PM
New Orleans Saints wide receivers Michael Thomas (illness) and Ted Ginn (knee) both practiced in full on Friday and will play in Week 2 against the Browns. Thomas' status was never in doubt, but Ginn worried his owners by missing practice on Wednesday. They'll be the top two options for quarterback Drew Brees against Cleveland. Thomas is an elite WR1 after grabbing a whopping 16 catches in the season opener. Ginn is more of a flex play that could disappoint if he doesn't find the end zone.
Week 2 Rankings Analysis - Nick Mariano vs. ECR rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 12:05 PM
Welcome, one and all, to the weekly piece that puts my rankings under the microscope and gives me a chance to explain myself against the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) found on FantasyPros. I did decently in Week 1, scoring 29th out of ~130 experts, but if I'm going to beat my 9th place finish from '17 then I've got work to do!
I'll be examining my own ranks against the ECR on a position-by-position basis, as the overall and flex tabs can simply get insane with every position folded in with [...]
Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn Return To Practice rotoballer.com Thu 9/13/18 3:12 PM
New Orleans Saints wide receivers Michael Thomas (illness) and Ted Ginn (knee) were back at practice on Thursday after both sat out on Wednesday. It's a positive development and signals that both receivers should be good to go for Week 2 against the Browns. Thomas is a must-start WR1 that had an insane 16 catches on 17 targets for 180 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. Ginn remains quarterback Drew Brees' No. 2 weapon behind Thomas, but he's more of a flex play for fantasy owners.
Wide Receiver Target Variances - Week 2 rotoballer.com Thu 9/13/18 11:15 AM
After spending months, weeks, and days subtracting the amount of time that remained until the regular season, we have now shifted focus toward adding numbers instead. This applies to the weekly variances in how many opportunities your wide receivers are being allotted, both in terms of their snap count and in how many targets they are collecting.
Each week, this article will examine these specific categories, along with any other noteworthy changes in usage that signal an increase or regressi[...]
