Ingram agreed to terms on a four-year deal with Chargers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

The Chargers slapped Ingram with the franchise tag in February and with each passing day it seemed less and less likely the two sides would agree to terms on a long-term deal before the July 15 deadline. However, those concerns and any speculation that Ingram could hold out of training camp were put to rest following Sunday's news. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the contract is worth up to $66 million with $42 million guaranteed, which is likely deserved for a player who accumulated 18.5 sacks across the past two seasons and has developed into one of the most feared pass rushers in the league.

Ingram has not been a participant in the Chargers' OTAs as he continues to negotiate for a long-term deal, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram received the franchise tag during the offseason, but there was optimism within the Chargers' organization that both sides would negotiate a long-term deal before the start of training camp. That possibility is dwindling by the day, however, as Ingram and the Chargers have until July 15 to come to some sort of agreement. When healthy, the 28-year-old has developed into a standout pass rusher, recording 18.5 sacks over the last two seasons.

Ingram received the Chargers' franchise tag on Monday, CSN's Albert Breer reports.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram and the Chargers still have until July 15 to reach a long-term deal. However, in the event the two sides don't agree to terms in time, it isn't clear if he'll be priced as a linebacker or a defensive end. The former is estimated to amount to $15 million while the latter will likely come in around $17 million. Ingram hasn't missed a game the last two seasons and racked up a combined 18.5 sacks and 125 tackles in that time span. Combined with NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Joey Bosa, he's now set to spearhead the Chargers' pass rush for at least one more year.

Ingram finished the season with 60 tackles, eight sacks and four forced fumbles.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram performed well in a contract year, nearly missing his career mark in sacks which he set in 2015. While the 27-year-old is expected to command a lucrative deal in free agency should he hit the open market, it's not a given the former first-round pick will return to the team that drafted him in 2012, as the Chargers may not want to match the price tag. Still, Ingram figures to be a pass rushing force for any team that does ultimately sign the versatile linebacker, and as a result should be on the radar in deeper IDP leagues.

Ingram picked up three tackles and a sack in Saturday's loss to the Browns.

EDGE Analysis

That's now back-to-back weeks with a sack as Ingram has paired nicely with Joey Bosa to create a formidable pass rush. While his sack numbers have been down this season, Ingram's strong end to the year could be a sign of things to come, as the Bosa-Ingram tandem could be a nightmare for teams in the future, and a boon for IDP owners.

Ingram recorded a sack, six tackles and two forced fumbles in the loss to the Raiders on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

The sack Sunday was Ingram's first since Week 10, as the Chargers have struggled to put together a consistent pass rush save for Joey Bosa. With just two weeks yet to play, it doesn't seem likely that Ingram will surpass his 2015 numbers, in which he recorded 10 and a half sacks, but he's become the Chargers' second-best option in terms of pass rush and has teamed nicely with the aforementioned Bosa throughout the year.

Ingram tallied four tackles and a sack in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram managed to provide the only sack for the Chargers on the afternoon, his team-leading sixth of the season. In a season marred by injuries, Ingram has been one of the Chargers only defensive players to contribute in each of the first 10 games.

Ingram recorded three tackles, one sack and a forced fumble in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram secured a huge strip-sack in the second quarter, stalling the Broncos' momentum late in the first half. The fifth-year player has now picked up sacks in back-to-back weeks and leads the Chargers in the aforementioned category through eight weeks.

Ingram led the way for the Chargers Sunday, recording nine tackles (six solo), a sack and two quarterback hits in the win.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram coupled with Joey Bosa to wreak havoc in the Falcons backfield as the duo combined for three sacks in the come-from-behind win. Both players lead the Chargers with four sacks on the season, but it's Ingram who presents a solid amount of IDP upside as he's on pace to record a season-high in tackles.

Ingram recorded six tackles (five solo) and one tackle for a loss in Thursday's win over the Broncos.

EDGE Analysis

Ingram was a handful Thursday, combining with the rest of the Chargers defensive line to harass Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian for much of the night. While Ingram did not pick up a sack for a second consecutive week, he has been able to get consistent pressure on the quarterback and might see even more opportunities now that Joey Bosa has finally made his way onto the field.
