Hardman should make significant improvements on the offensive side of the ball in 2020, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman's 2019 rookie campaign started fairly strong, with the rookie notching a pair of touchdowns and logging hefty snap counts through the first four weeks. Unfortunately, his role dwindled down the stretch, and he finished out the year with 26 catches for 538 yards and six touchdowns. Another offseason -- albeit an unusual one -- in the Chiefs' system should give Hardman an opportunity to improve on some weaknesses, namely as a run blocker. Given Sammy Watkins' rather lackluster campaign and Hardman's efficiency as a wideout last year when he was on the field, it wouldn't be surprising to see Hardman work his way into some two-receiver sets in 2020 in addition to likely swiping away some of Demarcus Robinson's work as the third wideout.

Hardman caught one pass for two yards and lost six yards on one carry in a 31-20 win over the 49ers in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman added three kick returns for 58 yards but called for a fair catch on both of the punts he fielded. He was limited to a 28 percent snap share on offense, working behind Tyreek Hill (87 percent), Sammy Watkins (87 percent) and Demarcus Robinson (49 percent). With Watkins a potential cap casualty and Robinson at the end of his rookie contract, Hardman likely will enter his second pro season as Kansas City's No. 2 or 3 option at wide receiver. The 21-year-old was quiet in the playoffs, but he made the most of his limited opportunities during the regular season, catching 26 of 41 targets for 538 yards (13.1 per target) and six touchdowns, adding a seventh TD on a kick return.

Hardman caught his lone target for an eight-yard gain in Sunday's 35-24 win over Tennessee, adding four kickoff returns for 86 yards, one punt return for seven yards and also drawing a 41-yard pass interference penalty.
EDGE Analysis
The ticky-tack penalty was arguably Hardman's biggest contribution, converting a third-and-10 with just under four minutes remaining in the game. Although it didn't show up in the box score, Hardman's role on offense expanded from a 17 percent snap share the previous week (a 51-31 win over Houston) to a 40 percent share in Sunday's win over Tennessee. Accordingly, Demarcus Robinson dipped from 58 percent to 37 percent, catching two passes for 31 yards in the process. The exact split will be tough to get a read on ahead of time, but the most likely scenario features some form of split between Hardman and Robinson in the No. 3 receiver role during the Super Bowl.

Hardman had a 30-yard reception on his lone target during Sunday's 31-21 win over the Chargers. He also returned two kicks for 117 yards and a touchdown and three punts for 21 yards.
EDGE Analysis
The Chiefs were down early in the second half when Hardman took the kickoff and high-stepped up the sideline before cutting back for a 104-yard kick return for a touchdown, the first return touchdown of his career. Hardman has caught multiple passes in just one game since Week 8, but he boasts an unreal 20.7 yards-per-reception average this season. After the Chief's first-round bye, they will take on the Patriots, Texans or Bills. In two games against New England and Houston this season, Hardman caught five total passes for 93 yards and a touchdown.

Hardman was not targeted in Sunday's game against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman did log 35 percent of the offensive snaps, an increase from less than 25 in each of the last two tilts, but it didn't turn into anything this week. The rookie is a touchdown-dependent DFS dart at this point, but he could work his way into a larger role in future seasons.

Hardman (glute) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday night's game against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman was added to the Chiefs' Week 16 injury report after being limited at practice Thursday. His return to a full session Friday, however, paves the way for the rookie to suit up Sunday. Hardman has found the end zone six times in 14 games this season, but a lack of volume of late has limited him to a hit-or-miss TD-dependent fantasy option.

Hardman (glute) was limited at practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman was added to the Chiefs' Week 16 injury report Thursday, so his status is worth monitoring in advance of Sunday night's game against the Bears. Though Hardman has logged six TDs in 14 games to date, he remains a hit-or-miss fantasy option, given his sporadic volume in Kansas City's passing attack. The 2019 second-rounder parlayed his 14 snaps in Week 15's win over the Broncos into one catch (on two targets) for 10 yards.

Hardman was held to one catch for 10 yards on two targets Sunday versus the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman's 14 offensive snaps mirrored the 14 he received last week against the Patriots, though he made the most of his touches in Week 14, recording a 48-yard touchdown reception on his lone grab. The rookie wideout has proven to be the deep threat the team expected when it drafted him, totaling four catches of 40 yards or longer and eight catches of 20 yards or longer on his 25 receptions this season. With six touchdowns on the board as well, Hardman may have the makeup of a future regular on offense.

Hardman caught his only target for a 48-yard touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick Mahomes appeared to injure his throwing hand early in the game and didn't take many shots downfield afterwards, but he did connect with Hardman on a long TD in the second quarter -- although the rookie did have to come back for the underthrown ball before turning on the jets to beat safety Duron Harmon and get to the end zone. Hardman has seen zero or one target in four of the last five games but has still managed to score twice on his four total catches over that stretch, highlighting both his big-play ability and minimal role in the Kansas City offense.

Hardman rushed once for nine yards and didn't haul in a pass Sunday versus the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Hardman saw a drastic dip in his playing time this week with Tyreek Hill available, ranking fourth at the position in total snaps behind Hill, Sammy Watkins and Demarcus Robinson. The rookie has some viable fantasy weeks under his belt, but it would likely require missed time from either Hill or Watkins down the stretch for him to warrant ownership in most redraft leagues.
