Prater (hip) is listed as active Sunday in Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
After his practice reps were capped during Week 4 prep, Prater entered the weekend with a questionable designation, but he'll nonetheless handle placekicking duties for the Cardinals on game day. He hasn't got much work this season due to circumstances beyond his control, but he has made all four field-goal attempts and both point-after tries through three games.

Prater (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prater was limited at practices throughout the week due to a hip injury he presumably picked up during the team's Week 3 loss to the Rams, though he didn't appear bothered by the issue during the game as he connected on all four of his field-goal attempts. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the Cardinals don't kick off until 4:05 PM ET on Sunday, to there'll be few replacement options available if Prater is ruled out for Week 4.

Prater was limited during Wednesday's practice due to a hip injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prater made all four of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's win over the Rams, but he appears to have picked up a hip injury as well. The severity of the issue remains unclear, but he'll have two more opportunities to practice before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Week 4.

Prater made all four of his field-goal attempts but didn't have any extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Prater converted from 23, 43, 49 and 31 yards, resulting in a 12-point outing after scoring just one point in both of the first two weeks.

Prater made his only point-after try but didn't attempt a field goal during Sunday's 29-23 overtime victory in Las Vegas.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals have opened the campaign with 50 points combined between Weeks 1 and 2, but Prater has accounted for only two of them. In fact, he's posted the exact same stat line in those outings. Prater has been a victim of disjointed and comeback efforts so far, as Arizona has attempted two-point conversions on four of seven touchdowns to date (and didn't need an extra point following Sunday's game-ending fumble return TD). FGAs and more PATs will come as the season wears on, but for the time being it's tough to rely on Prater.

Prater did not attempt a field goal but made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 44-21 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Prater did all that was required of him, but his lack of opportunities resulted in an underwhelming output. He'll hope for more scoring chances in Week 2 versus the Raiders.

Thu 1/20/22 10:25 PM

Prater struck true on 30 of 37 field-goal attempts and 47 of 49 point-after tries in 17 contests during the 2021 season.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals finished with the 11th-ranked scoring offense at 26.4 points per game, but Prater himself ended up in a tie for sixth among kickers that made at least 16 appearances with the Ravens' Justin Tucker at 8.1 points per game. Arizona has a number of key skill players set to become unrestricted free agents in March -- RBs James Conner and Chase Edmonds, WRs A.J. Green and Christian Kirk and TEs Zach Ertz and Maxx Williams -- but being attached to a Kyler Murray-led offense should continue to be beneficial for Prater, who is locked up for $4.5 million in 2022.

Prater made all three field-goal attempts and all three point-after tries during Sunday's 38-30 defeat to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
With the 12-point performance, Prater pushed his way into a tie for sixth with Justin Tucker in terms of points per game (8.1) among kickers who played at least 16 games. While his success rate on FGAs (81.1 percent) is his second lowest since 2014, he has nailed 47 of 49 PATs (95.9 percent) on the campaign. Prater will look to keep it up in Monday's wild-card game versus the Rams.

Wed 1/5/22 12:22 AM

Prater made all four of his field-goal attempts as well as his only extra-point try in Sunday's 25-22 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Prater tied his season high in points by converting field goals from 24, 53, 26 and 38 yards. In doing so, he not only rebounded from missing three kicks in Week 16, but Prater also helped Arizona clinch a three-point win. The veteran now sports 125 points heading into the final game of the season, placing in the top 10 at his position league-wide.

Prater missed two of three field-goal attempts and one of two extra-point tries in Saturday's 22-16 loss to the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Prater missed from 51 yards to begin the game, then failed with his PAT after Arizona scored on its next drive. The veteran subsequently hit the right upright with a 41-yarder in the second half, before finally closing with a make from 28 yards. In the end, Prater's misses proved costly and directly contributed toward the Cardinals losing a third straight game. He'll strive to rebound from arguably his worst performance of the campaign in Week 17 versus the Cowboys.
