Forte (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, is considered likely to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forte's knee issue has resulted in the Jets limiting his workload in practices for much of the season, but it doesn't look as though he's dealing with any sort of significant setback that will keep him sidelined in Week 14. Even so, with the Jets having gravitated to a three-headed backfield of Forte, Bilal Powell and Eljiah McGuire, the fantasy ceilings for all players are capped when the trio is healthy and available.

Forte (knee) was held out of Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Forte also missed practice Wednesday but managed a limited session Thursday. While he managed to play through the same injury the past two weeks, it seems to be the kind of lingering issue that could flare up and cause an unexpected absence. His status probably won't be entirely clear until the Jets release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire would take on expanded workloads if Forte isn't able to hold up his share of the three-headed backfield.

Forte (knee) returned to a limited practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Forte is thus trending toward being available for Sundays game against the Broncos, though the Jets may well end up listing the running back as questionable for the contest. If Forte does play this weekend, he'd be in line to share work in the Jets' Week 14 backfield with Bilal Powell, along with Elijah McGuire to a lesser degree.

Forte (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forte didn't practice last Wednesday either, before returning to a limited session Thursday and eventually playing in this past Sunday's 38-31 win over the Chiefs, logging 15 carries for 58 yards and three catches for 33 yards and a TD. We'd expect a similar progression this week and in such a scenario, he'll continue to share work in the team's Week 14 backfield against the Broncos with Bilal Powell (18 carries in Week 13) and Elijah McGuire (five carries), to a lesser degree.

Forte (knee) rushed 15 times for 58 yards and brought in all three targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-31 win over the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Forte was solid through both the ground and air, averaging just under 4.0 yards per carry while also logging his first receiving touchdown of the season. It was only the third game with double-digit carries for Forte, with all of those instances having notably come over the last trio of contests. The usual concern that would be expressed over a 31-year-old tailback's workload at this stage of the season thus doesn't really apply in this case, which could bode well for Forte's workload and production over the balance of the campaign. He'll look to continue producing against the Broncos in Week 14.

Forte (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
On the plus side, Forte is available to those who need him to fill an RB slot in Week 13 lineups, but he figures to yield some work to Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire on Sunday, which limits his ceiling. Neither of the aforementioned trio logged more than 10 touches in the Jets' Week 12 loss to the Panthers.

Forte (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Todd Bowles relayed Friday that Forte will be worked out in warmups Sunday before a call on the running back's Week 13 status is made. If Forte ends up out, or limited at all Sunday, Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire would be in line for added work in the Jets' backfield.

Forte (knee) took part in a practice on a limited basis Thursday, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forte was held out of Wednesday's session while battling the right knee injury that has dogged him for a good chunk of the season, but his limited involvement a day later suggests that he's trending toward suiting up Sunday against the Chiefs. If Forte gets the green light to play his second game in a row, he'll likely be forced to split the backfield workload with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire. None of the three running backs had more than 10 touches in the Week 12 loss to the Panthers.

Forte (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Forte logged 26 yards on 10 carries in this past Sunday's 35-27 loss to the Panthers, while seeing 29 snaps on offense compared the 23 Bilal Powell saw and 18 Elijah McGuire was on the field for. With no reported setbacks in the contest, Forte's absence Wednesday could well be maintenance-related, a notion that would be supported by his return to practice, in any capacity, Thursday.

Forte (knee) doesn't appear to be practicing Wednesday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forte missed practice last Wednesday and Thursday, but he ended up playing in Sunday's 35-27 loss to the Panthers, splitting playing time with Bilal Powell (10 touches) and Elijah McGuire (six). Forte previously hadn't played since Week 9, when he surprisingly took 14 carries for 77 yards and his only two scores of the season in a 34-21 win over the Bills. With the Jets falling out of the wild card hunt and Forte's knee injury lingering, it would make sense to take a better look at McGuire before the end of the season. The team could decide to shut Forte down at some point.
