Coach Dan Quinn said Bryant (hamstring) likely will miss next Monday's game against the Giants, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

In the wake of his 57-yard field goal with less than one minute remaining Sunday against the Buccaneers, Bryant needed the help of teammates to get off the field and had an evident limp as he walked to the locker room. The Falcons will work out kickers this week and sign one of them for the short term. Per Jason Butt of The Athletic, Giorgio Tavecchio is an option after spending the last week of August with the team.

Bryant injured his hamstring in Sunday's 34-29 win over the Buccaneers, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-COnstitution reports.

EDGE Analysis

Bryant nailed a 57-yard field goal to put the Falcons up 34-29 with under a minute remaining and had to be helped off the field by his teammates afterward. He was not allowed to speak to the media postgame and appeared dejected in the locker room. The 43-year-old was perfect on his other field goal and four extra point tries prior to the injury.

Bryant connected on a 47-yard field goal, and went 2-for-2 on extra-point tries during Sunday's 41-17 loss to Pittsburgh.

EDGE Analysis

The 43-year-old Bryant made his 19th consecutive field-goal attempt in the loss to Pittsburgh, continuing a streak that dates back to Week 16 of last year. He's had zero or one field-goal tries in three of the Falcons five games, leading to inconsistent production from the 17th-year man. Bryant may see a higher volume of work Sunday, facing a Tampa Bay defense that ranks sixth-worst in the NFL in scoring defense.

Bryant converted on 3-of-3 field-goal tries, with three successful extra-point attempts, but Atlanta lost 37-36 to Cincinnati on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Money Matt connected on attempts from 28, 32 and 55 yards out, keeping him perfect on field goals in 2018 (6-for-6), with one point-after try that clanked off the upright and was no good in Week 1. Bryant may have been more valuable prior to the Week 4 explosion had Atlanta's red-zone offense not been so effective, but he is a potential top-five option at kicker moving forward given the ease with which the offense has been pushing the ball downfield over the past three weeks.

Bryant did not attempt a field goal, but connected on all three of his point-after tries during Sunday's 43-37 overtime loss to New Orleans.

EDGE Analysis

Fantasy owners invested in Falcons skill-position players are thrilled with the team's red-zone resurgence on Sunday, but those with stock in Bryant are underwhelmed with the veteran kicker's production through Week 3. Bryant has yet to break eight points (standard scoring) in any of Atlanta's games this year, and his three-point outing against the Saints marks his lowest output since Week 7 of the 2017 season. He hasn't missed a field-goal try yet this year but the volume just hasn't been there, as Bryant has only three attempts to his credit on the young season.

Bryant was two-for-two on field-goal attempts in Thursday's 18-12 loss to Philadelphia, but missed on an important fourth-quarter PAT.

EDGE Analysis

The 18-year veteran got on the board early in Atlanta's season opener, putting a 21-yard attempt through the uprights on the Falcons' second drive of the night. Later in the half, it appeared that a Jordan Hicks sack of Matt Ryan may have pushed the offense out of field-goal range, but out trotted Bryant for a 52-yard kick. The ageless wonder placed the attempt right down the middle to provide Atlanta with a 6-3 lead late in the second quarter. In the fourth-quarter, however, Bryant banged an extra-point try off the right upright, keeping the Falcons' lead at two points for the time being in what would an eventual 18-12 loss.

Bryant won't kick in Thursday's preseason game against the Dolphins, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

The 43-year-old battled an undisclosed injury through the first two preseason games, so the Falcons see no need to push him further. The team signed Giorgio Tavecchio on Monday, so there was speculation about Bryant's job security despite a proven track record. Tavecchio will serve as a place holder for the preseason finale and likely be released afterwards.

Bryant converted on field-goal tries of 33 and 47 yards during Atlanta's 17-6 loss to the Jaguars on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

In his first preseason action of the year, Bryant picked up where he left off in 2017. With his two successful field goals from Saturday night, the 16-year veteran has now sunk 31 of his last 33 attempts dating back to Week 8 of last season. A top-five finisher at the position during each of the past two campaigns, Bryant projects to be one of the more promising options at kicker as the beneficiary of a high-flying Falcons' offense that struggled to finish in the red zone of late.

Bryant (undisclosed) will suit up for Saturday's preseason contest in Jacksonville, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Bryant missed the team's first two exhibitions due to an unknown injury, but after returning to practice Wednesday he did enough to gain clearance from team trainers. Despite receiving far fewer extra-point chances in 2017 than during his NFL-high 158-point campaign the previous season, he still posted 137 last year, which was good for eighth-most in the league.

Bryant (undisclosed) is considered to be a game-time decision for Saturday's preseason contest, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Bryant reportedly kicked during Wednesday's practice suggesting there is optimism moving forward. At 43-years-old, you would be hard-pressed to squeeze anymore experience into Bryant's leg. Atlanta doesn't appear concerned with his immediate progression and likely values his availability for Week 1 ahead of any preseason reps.
