GM Reggie McKenzie acknowledged the need to get Marcel Reece more touches. Reece is a matchup nightmare for defenses thanks to his size/speed combo and route-running ability from the H-back spot. That's why McKenzie gave him a four-year, $14.4M contract last week. But through two games, Reece has just two carries and one catch (on three targets). It's simply not enough. Reece is a name to put on deeper watch lists, especially in PPR formats.

Marcel Reece rushed twice for 15 yards and a touchdown in Oakland's Week 2 win over the Jaguars. Reece just signed a three-year extension on Friday, but has just 15 yards from scrimmage through two games. The 2012 fantasy folk hero would need an injury to Darren McFadden to get back on the roto radar.

Marcel Reece's three-year extension with the Raiders is worth more than $13 million. The deal includes $7.2 million guaranteed, which easily makes him the highest paid fullback over Le'Ron McClain and Mike Tolbert. Reece was set to make $1.42 million in the final year of his contract and is now signed through 2016.

Raiders signed FB Marcel Reece to a three-year extension through 2016. Details of the new deal are not yet available, but Reece was owed $1.423 million entering a contract year. Reece, 28, is averaging 4.8 yards per carry in his career with 107 receptions and six all-purpose touchdowns. A former wide receiver at Washington, Reece has developed into one of the game's premier and most versatile fullbacks. In Oakland's 2012 zone-blocking scheme, Reece was the best tailback on the team.

Raiders FB Marcel Reece caught four passes for 18 yards in the team's Week 16 loss to Carolina. Captain Checkdown Matt Leinart replaced Carson Palmer (ribs) in the first quarter and finished out the game, translating to five targets for Oakland's lead blocker. Reece has been a non-factor in fantasy football since Darren McFadden returned. He's a full-time fullback again.

Marcel Reece rushed for 10 yards on four carries and caught just one pass for five yards in Thursday night's Week 14 loss to Denver. Reece started the game at fullback with Darren McFadden's return to the lineup and saw scant work in the loss. He was targeted just one time in the passing game. With the news that McFadden suffered a setback near the end of the game, Reece could be in line for a bigger role in Week 15. McFadden will have 10 days to try and heal up, but even if he misses, Reece shouldn't be counted on to handle the load in the backfield.

Marcel Reece (hamstring, quad) remained limited in Wednesday's practice, but is listed as probable for Thursday Night Football. Reece will suit up against the Broncos, but with Darren McFadden (ankle) finally returning, he'll be in for few, if any, snaps at running back. Reece will be back at fullback after being shifted there midway through Sunday's loss. It's possible Jeremy Stewart will serve as McFadden's direct backup, though Mike Goodson (ankle) is also expected to return. Reece is no longer a flex option in 12-team leagues.

Marcel Reece is dealing with hamstring and quadriceps injuries this week. The injuries explain Jeremy Stewart's increased role versus the Browns as well as the Raiders' Tuesday signing of RB/FB Jamize Olawale from the Cowboys practice squad. With Darren McFadden due back Thursday night, Reece can be dropped in 12-team leagues.

Marcel Reece rushed for 36 yards on just seven carries and caught five passes for 20 yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns in Week 13. Reece lost running back duties to Jeremy Stewart midway through the game and was pushed to fullback. Stewart got nine totes and turned them into 46 yards. Darren McFadden (ankle) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Broncos, according to head coach Dennis Allen. So, this shouldn't be an issue moving forward. Reece will go back to his tight end/receiver hybrid role.
