Miller had eight carries for 37 yards in Sunday's 22-14 loss to the Colts.

EDGE Analysis

For the second consecutive week, Miller had fewer touches than backup Alfred Blue, but given the current state of the Texans' season, we don't see this as anything other than Houston taking it easy on Miller. The 26-year-old back finished with 888 yards and a career-low 3.7 yards per carry. The offensive line had problems generating holes for him all season, but that wasn't a problem when Deshaun Watson (knee) was healthy. In the seven games Watson played, Miller averaged 89 yards from scrimmage and scored four touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving). Over the final nine games without the rookie quarterback, he averaged 66 yards and scored twice. The offense in 2018 should revolve around Watson and the passing game, which will lead to more production out of Miller.

Miller rushed 10 times for 55 yards while catching his lone target for 10 more in Monday's 34-6 loss to the Steelers.

EDGE Analysis

Miller topped 5.0 yards per carry for only the third time this season, but he was outplayed by Alfred Blue, who averaged 6.8 yards per attempt on his 16 carries for a total of 108 yards. The two running backs will likely split work in next week's finale against the Colts, though it's worth noting Miller is the superior pass catcher between them. Miller has produced between 51 and 61 yards on the ground in 10 of 15 games this season, so don't be surprised if he falls in that range again in Indianapolis.

Miller carried nine times for 32 yards and caught two of four targets for one additional yard during Sunday's 45-7 loss to the Jaguars.

EDGE Analysis

Miller managed just 3.6 yards per carry against a stout Jaguars front and was a virtual non factor in the passing game. He recorded his fewest number of touches and scrimmage yards on the season, in part due to the lopsided nature of the contest. Miller's weekly ceiling for production is seemingly shrinking as the offense continues to sputter, making him a risky play next week against the Steelers in a game the Texans are expected to trail.

Miller (knee) practiced fully Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

EDGE Analysis

Miller's practice reps were capped Wednesday and Thursday, but it seems that was done for maintenance-related reasons than out of legitimate concern about the running back's health heading into the Week 15 matchup. With T.J. Yates set to make his first start of the season Sunday, the Texans may try to get Miller and the ground game going early in Jacksonville, but the 26-year-old may struggle to find success on that front after managing only 3.8 yards per carry against the Jaguars in Week 1.

Miller (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Miller's ability to practice both Wednesday and Thursday, albeit in a limited fashion, presumably puts him on track to play Sunday against the Jaguars, though we'll have to see if the Texans' top back heads into that contest listed as questionable, or absent from the team's final Week 15 injury report.

Miller (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

It wouldn't surprise us if the Texans are simply managing Miller's practice reps here, a notion that would be solidified if he returns to a full practice Thursday. On the plus side, Miller's workload has been steady of late, with 22, 17, 15 and 17 carries over his last four games. He hasn't topped 61 rushing yards in that span, but more often that not he chips in some in the passing game, so at the very least Miller's fantasy floor is decent and he may be counted on this weekend, with likely Week 15 starting QB T.J. Yates looking at a daunting matchup on the road against the Jaguars.

Miller rushed 17 times for 53 yards and caught both of his targets for seven more in Sunday's 26-16 loss to San Francisco.

EDGE Analysis

Miller expected a larger workload, but the hosts had to rely primarily on the passing game after surprisingly falling behind their 2-10 visitors. He didn't exactly earn more touches with an average of 3.1 yards per carry, falling short of 4.0 for the fourth consecutive week. Miller continues to be consistently mediocre with between 51 and 61 rushing yards in each of his past seven games.

With top backup Alfred Blue (concussion) unavailable, Miller expects to handle an increased workload in Sunday's game against the 49ers, Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle reports.

EDGE Analysis

While he won't have much competition for carries, Miller does figure to cede some of the passing-down work to Andre Ellington, who caught five passes for 56 yards in his Texans debut last week. Miller still managed to chip in four catches for 38 yards in the 24-13 loss to Tennessee, in addition to taking 15 carries for 56 yards. Though he's been solid but unspectacular for the most part this season, there is some potential for a blow-up outing in Week 14 matchup with a San Francisco defense that's surrendered a league-high mark of 164.6 scrimmage yards per game to opposing running backs.

Miller and the rest of the Texans' running attack "wasn't very good" last week, per head coach Bill O'Brien, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. "We just have to figure out what corrections we need to make, figure out how we can get it better.. We got to do a better job running the ball," said the coach.

EDGE Analysis

The Texans were held to a season-low 53 rushing yards in Week 13's loss to Tennessee. Results like that requires more from quarterback Tom Savage, who played well last week but is has been turnover-prone. Week 14 represents an opportunity for Miller, who faces San Francisco's 29th-ranked rushing defense (123.9 YPG). With D'Onta Foreman (Achilles) unavailable, Alfred Blue (concussion) questionable, and Andre Ellington new to offense, Miller should get plenty of touches Sunday.

Miller rushed 15 times for 56 yards and caught all four of his targets for 38 more in Sunday's 24-13 loss to the Titans.

EDGE Analysis

Miller has been a model of consistency with between 51 and 61 rushing yards in each of his past six games. With three rushing touchdowns and three receiving scores this season, Miller has established himself as a high-floor option worthy of consideration in most matchups. The offense around him is certainly less explosive under Tom Savage than it was with Deshaun Watson (knee) at quarterback, though.
