Kyle Rudolph (shoulder) returned to practice Thursday, as expected. Rudolph participated in all individual and team drills during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice. He's on track to play at Green Bay on Sunday. Rotoworld ranks Rudolph No. 11 among tight end options for Week 13.

Kyle Rudolph said his shoulder injury should not keep him from playing in Sunday's game against the Packers. Rudolph sat out Wednesday's practice, but he brushed off the injury as minor. He also confirmed that he's been fully cleared despite sustaining his second concussion of the season last week. "The other one was more of an equilibrium, balance type thing," he said. "I didn't have any of that during this one. Two completely different circumstances." At this point, we'd be surprised if Rudolph didn't suit up as a low-end TE1 come Sunday.

Kyle Rudolph (shoulder) missed Wednesday's practice. Rudolph has passed his concussion tests, but a strained shoulder has him looking dicey for Sunday. With Percy Harvin (ankle) anything but a sure bet to suit up against Green Bay, the Vikings can ill-afford to lose Rudolph for Week 13. His status will be updated no later than Thursday afternoon.

Although he's been cleared of his concussion, Kyle Rudolph is also dealing with a strained shoulder. It's uncertain if he'll practice on Wednesday, but we'll know within the next hour or two. Averaging six catches for 59.5 yards over his past two starts, Rudolph will be worth low-end TE1 consideration if he suits up against the Packers.

Kyle Rudolph has already been cleared of his Week 12 concussion. The Vikings haven't specified if Rudolph has simply been cleared to practice or if he's gotten the green light to play in a game. Either way, he's now on track to suit up in Sunday's game at Green Bay. The burly tight end has been a major part of the gameplan in each of the last two weeks, racking up 18 total targets and scoring two touchdowns. He's on the TE1 radar.

Kyle Rudolph is undergoing the NFL's protocol concussion testing this week. His availability for Week 13 at Green Bay is up in the air. If Rudolph can't get cleared, Minnesota could be without two of its top-three playmakers. Due to a significant ankle sprain, Percy Harvin's status is also in doubt.

Coach Leslie Frazier confirmed that Kyle Rudolph was suffering from concussion symptoms Sunday. Rudolph left in the fourth quarter to get evaluated and never returned. It's unclear exactly what play he sustained the blow to the head on. Frazier said he will update Rudolph's status on Monday.

Kyle Rudolph was taken to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 12 game against the Bears to be evaluated for a concussion. He had five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown before exiting. The Vikings were trailing by 18 points late in the fourth quarter, so Rudolph may not return whether or not he's medically cleared. Rudolph has scored in back-to-back games, and now has seven touchdown receptions on the season.

Kyle Rudolph caught 7-of-9 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown as the Vikings took down the Lions in Week 10. His nine targets were a team high. With Percy Harvin (ankle) out of the lineup, Rudolph stepped up as an improved Christian Ponder's go-to guy, racking up first downs on short receptions and finding pay dirt for the first time since Week 6. Although Rudolph has shown himself as lacking true big-play ability, he'll continue to be a top red-zone option in Minnesota's offense and can get his season back on track if Ponder simply plays better.

Kyle Rudolph admitted he's trying to improve on getting more separation at the top of his routes. At 6'6/258, Rudolph is struggling to get open and Christian Ponder is hesitating to squeeze the ball into tight windows. It's resulted in a total of two catches for 17 yards in the last three weeks. "Throughout the course of the game a person can watch and see, 'Oh, you're open there.' But it's always about the timing of the separation, and we need to get back on that same page of having the separation at the right time," he said. The Vikes claim they're trying to get Rudolph back in the mix, but we can't trust him until they prove it on the field.
