McCown completed 23 of 39 passes for 262 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Buccaneers. He also fumbled once and recovered.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran was often under duress in his return to Tampa, as he was taken down six times and hit on another eight occasions. McCown did have his moments, firing a 38-yard score to Robby Anderson and connecting with seven different pass catchers on the afternoon. The 38-year-old's passing yardage total was his second-best of the season, although Sunday did mark his first game with a completion rate south of 60.0 percent. Despite the disappointing team outcome, McCown has helped the Jets exceed expectations thus far, and his 14:8 TD:INT ratio is keeping him a serviceable fantasy option in all formats. He'll look to help get the Jets back in the win column against the Panthers in Week 12 following their Week 11 bye.

McCown completed 14 of 20 passes for 140 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in Thursday's 34-21 win over the Bills.

EDGE Analysis

The Jets' running game was hitting on all cylinders Thursday, allowing McCown to be selective with his opportunities. He capitalized on his biggest one, a 25-yard scoring dart to a streaking Robby Anderson down the right sideline early in the third quarter. It was the 38-year-old's fifth straight contest with a touchdown pass and his second scoring throw in as many weeks to the young speedster. McCown hasn't put up gaudy yardage totals by any stretch in New York's conservative system, but he's now completed at least 70.0 percent of his throws in five of nine games and has no worse than a 63.0 percent completion rate in any contest. He'll look to continue producing against the Buccaneers in Week 10.

McCown completed 26 of 33 passes for 257 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Falcons. He netted zero yards on his sole rush and fumbled twice but didn't lose either.

EDGE Analysis

McCown put together yet another strong showing, with the outing marking his fourth straight game with multiple touchdown passes. The 15-year veteran has also averaged over 7.5 yards per attempt in three consecutive contests and has completed more than 70 percent of his passes on four occasions this season. While the Jets offense remains largely conservative, McCown has proven capable of pushing the ball downfield as well when called upon, such as on his 24-yard scoring throw to Robby Anderson in the third quarter. Despite some of the limitations placed upon him by the system, McCown has proven a viable week-to-week option in all formats and will look to continue building on his solid first half versus the Bills in a Thursday night Week 9 matchup.

McCown completed 17 of 27 passes for 209 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 31-28 loss to Miami. He added a yard and a touchdown on three carries.

EDGE Analysis

McCown was leading what appeared to be a rout through the third quarter. Despite the choke job by the team, McCown was actually better than his stats indicate, his interception not coming until the team's final desperation drive. The Jets, even with the loss, continue to outperform what they looked like on paper to start the year. McCown has been a big part of that, accounting for multiple touchdowns in three consecutive games.

McCown completed 31 of 47 passes for 354 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Patriots. He added three carries for 21 yards and had a third touchdown pass overturned on a dubious call.

EDGE Analysis

McCown entered play with fewer than 250 passing yards in every game this season, but took advantage of a Patriots secondary that came into this one allowing the most passing yards per game in the league. He capped the opening drive with a one-yard touchdown pass to tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins and added a 31-yard score to Jeremy Kerley early in the second quarter. It looked like McCown connected with Seferian-Jenkins for a four-yard score in the fourth, but officials ruled that the tight end fumbled the ball out of the end zone upon review.

McCown completed 23 of 30 passes for 194 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Browns. He also lost three yards on three rushes.

EDGE Analysis

Even with a non-existent running attack that was partly hampered by the in-game loss of Bilal Powell (calf), McCown managed to remain reasonably effective and make just enough plays to help lead the Jets to their third straight victory. The 38-year-old now has a pair of multi-touchdown days through the first five weeks and continues to spread the ball around effectively, hitting Jermaine Kearse and the surging Austin Seferian-Jenkins for scores Sunday. McCown will look to keep his surprising team heading in the right direction when they tangle with the Patriots at home in Week 6.

McCown was listed on Wednesday's injury report as a full practice participant with a right shoulder injury, ESPN.com's Rich Cimini reports.

EDGE Analysis

While McCown's ability to log a full practice suggests his game availability isn't in doubt, it's still not ideal for a quarterback to have soreness in his throwing shoulder. He took five sacks in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Jaguars, but he should have an easier time this week against the Browns.

McCown completed 22 of 31 passes for 224 yards and a pick in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Jaguars. He also fumbled the ball three times, losing one.

EDGE Analysis

McCown has avoided disaster thus far this season, fumbling the ball five times, but just losing one. He's also thrown three picks to just three touchdowns. The Jets surprising two-game winning streak has been predicated on suffocating defense and big plays in the running game. McCown's job is just to keep the Jets on schedule and take care of the football. With limited weapons at receiver, there is no reason to have McCown on your radar as the reward simply doesn't make up for the risk.

McCown completed 18 of 23 passes for 249 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 20-6 win over the Dolphins. He also gained seven yards on four rushes and fumbled twice, but lost neither.

EDGE Analysis

For the second consecutive week, the veteran was impressively efficient, although he was lucky that neither of his fumbles resulted in a turnover. McCown hit speedster with a beautiful 69-yard strike shortly before halftime to extend the Jets' lead to 10-0 at the time, giving the 38-year-old signal caller a 3:0 TD:INT ratio over the last two weeks. The New York passing game has largely remained conservative through three weeks -- which has helped lead to a stellar 66.7 percent completion rate for McCown -- but he's been serviceable from a fantasy standpoint overall. McCown will look to build on Sunday's surprising victory against the Jaguars at home in Week 4.

McCown completed 17 of 25 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns and added 31 yards on four carries in Sunday's 45-20 loss to the Raiders.

EDGE Analysis

The Jets stayed within striking distance until early in the fourth quarter when Jalen Richard ripped off a 58-yard touchdown run and McCown lost a fumble on the ensuing snap. The 38-year-old quarterback otherwise turned in a competent performance, albeit with 57 passing yards and one of the two touchdowns coming on a lengthy garbage-time drive. The Jets opted for a balanced offensive approach while trying to keep pace with the Raiders, after attempting 39 passes and only 15 rushes in a 21-12 loss to Buffalo the previous week. McCown should see a bit more volume Week 3 against Miami in the Jets' first home game of the year. He's at least doing enough to keep the starting job for a few more weeks.
