ESPN's Ed Werder confirms Jake Locker has taken all of the first-team reps in practice this week. Barring a surprising setback on Friday, Locker is locked in as Sunday's starter at Miami. Rotoworld ranks Locker 19th among fantasy quarterbacks this week.

Coach Mike Munchak confirmed that Jake Locker (shoulder) remains on track to start after surviving a couple of hits in Thursday's practice. Coaches instructed Kamerion Wimbley to give Locker a shots or two to ensure that the quarterback's shoulder is ready for game action. Locker had no soreness on Thursday and has made it through two practices without a setback.

Jake Locker (shoulder) will play with a harness under his pads in Sunday's game against the Dolphins. It's a precaution to help ensure that Locker's troublesome non-throwing shoulder stays in place. "I am not going to go out and play with any concerns, or anything in the back of my mind," he said. "I am just going to go out and play like I always have." Doctors have fully cleared Locker and said he wouldn't gain anything by sitting out through the Week 11 bye. He's a low-end QB2 option with upside.

Updating an earlier item, Titans coach Mike Munchak's expectation is that Jake Locker (shoulder) will start Sunday's game against the Dolphins. The Nashville Tennessean expects Locker to start over Matt Hasselbeck as long as he has no "mental or physical setbacks next two days." As speculated by the Tennessee press, all it took for Locker's shoulder to magically heal up enough for contact was a rough game from Hasselbeck. Locker is immediately back on the QB2 radar, but he's returning to an extremely tough matchup against the Dolphins' stout defense. Owners in two-QB leagues may want to wait until after Tennessee's Week 11 bye to get Locker back in their lineups.

Coach Mike Munchak indicated Tuesday that Jake Locker (shoulder) has been cleared for practice and will split reps with Matt Hasselbeck this week. Doctors have cleared Locker to "move forward" for game week, but he won't be hit in practices. It sounds like Locker will have to prove his shoulder is fully healthy and outplay Hasselbeck to draw the starting nod at Miami. With the bye looming in Week 11, the Titans could certainly opt to go the conservative route if the Locker doesn't make the decision easy for them in practices.

Titans coach Mike Munchak left the door open for Jake Locker (shoulder) to start in Week 10 against the Dolphins. The Titans are no longer moving the ball with Matt Hasselbeck under center, and Locker is magically healing faster now. Munchak said Monday that Locker "continues to improve" in his recovery from a broken left (non-throwing) shoulder, although he's still awaiting medical clearance to absorb hits. We should have a better read on this quarterback situation around midweek.

Jake Locker (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice, but has already been ruled out for Week 9. Locker has yet to be cleared for contact, though he did participate in 11-on-11 drills Wednesday. Matt Hasselbeck should remain the starter through the Titans' Week 11 bye.

Titans coach Mike Munchak revealed Monday that Jake Locker still hasn't received medical clearance to take hits because he has a fracture in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. Munchak has maintained all along that Locker would be the Titans' starter when healthy, but he isn't and probably won't be until Week 12 at the soonest. The Titans have a Week 11 bye. It's shaping up as a lost season for Locker, who can be safely dropped in fantasy leagues. Matt Hasselbeck will be the starter in Week 9 against the Bears, and very likely in Week 10 against the Dolphins.

Coach Mike Munchak said Monday that Jake Locker still hasn't received doctors' clearance to return from his twice-dislocated left shoulder. Munchak acknowledged that Locker may not return until after the Titans' Week 11 bye. Currently 3-5, Tennessee will have a better feel for its season after upcoming games against the Bears and Dolphins. If the Titans pull out back-to-back victories with Matt Hasselbeck at the helm, they may stick with the veteran.
