Jake Locker will undergo surgery on his left (non-throwing) shoulder "in the near future." Although Locker returned from the twice-dislocated shoulder to finish out the season, he was playing through an injury the whole time. Per the Nashville Tennessean, Locker fractured a bone at the front of his shoulder in addition to twice dislocating the joint. Locker is expected to miss "several months," and is questionable for the start of May minicamps. The surgery is to prevent Locker's shoulder from popping out of place in the future.

Jake Locker completed 9-of-15 passes for 152 yards and managed just three yards rushing in the Titans' Week 17 win over Jacksonville. Locker ends a disappointing, injury-riddled first season as a starter having completed 177-of-314 throws (56.4 percent) for 2,176 yards (6.93 YPA), and a 10:11 TD-to-INT ratio, adding 291 yards and a score as a runner. Although Locker flashes big-play ability from time to time, he instilled zero long-term confidence this season that he's capable of being Tennessee's franchise quarterback. Locker's accuracy remains among the league's worst and he is often uncomfortable playing from the pocket. The Titans need to bring in stiffer competition than Matt Hasselbeck this offseason.

Titans OC Dowell Loggains said he never considered benching Jake Locker during Sunday's Week 16 loss to the Packers. Even as bad as Locker was, he needs to keep playing in order to get better. The Titans would have nothing to gain by benching him. "Jake needs to grow through these things," Loggains said. "The situation against Houston, it's the same thing. It's part of being a young quarterback. How you respond is how your teammates are going to look at you." Locker is now 3-7 as a starter.

Jake Locker completed 13-of-22 passes for 149 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions in Monday night's Week 15 win over the Jets. Locker added 43 yards and a touchdown on seven scampers. He survived and won the battle of bad quarterback play on Monday night, but his performance was nothing to write home about. From the pocket, Locker is completely inept, but if he can roll out and get on the move, he shows some resemblance of an NFL quarterback. Locker has the athleticism and arm strength, but his accuracy is severely lacking. His third-quarter 13-yard rushing score put the Titans ahead 14-10 and ended up being the game-winning score. The Titans travel to Green Bay in Week 16.

Jake Locker completed 22-of-35 passes for 262 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in Sunday's Week 14 loss to the Colts. Locker was brilliant in the first half, completing 15-of-20 passes for 213 yards and his score, but the second half was a totally different Locker. He threw both of his interceptions after the break, including a stared-down, easy pick-six to the Colts' Cassius Vaughn. It put Indy up 21-20, and the game was pretty much over after that. Locker, at least, got the ball in his best player's hands, feeding Kenny Britt on a regular basis. We'll see the Titans and Jets on Monday night next week.

Jake Locker completed just 21-of-45 passes for 309 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions while also losing two fumbles in the Titans' 24-10, Week 13 loss to the Texans. Locker was downright horrific all day long. He started the day completing just 3-of-12 passes for 37 yards, and it never got any better. After being down 21-3 in the first half, the Titans threw the ball much of the rest of the way which allowed him to pick up all the yards. Locker was sacked another six times and was holding the ball far too long in the pocket. The Titans travel to Indianapolis next Sunday.

Jake Locker completed 23-of-40 passes for 261 yards, one touchdown, and one interception at Jacksonville in Week 12. Locker was off target early, and his receivers didn't help by failing to gain separation. The second half went more smoothly, but Locker lost touchdowns to Nate Washington's end-zone bobble and a questionable ruling on Damian William's corner reception. Locker had a shot at a game-winning drive only to throw an interception on the first play. Locker heads home to face a Texans secondary that has been exploited the past two weeks.

Titans coach Mike Munchak confirmed Monday that Jake Locker's twice-dislocated left shoulder emerged from Sunday's Week 10 start fine. Locker didn't need a Monday MRI because the Titans have no concerns about re-injury. Through five starts, Locker has completed 59.8 percent of his throws with six touchdown passes, two interceptions, and an 8.6 yards-per-carry average on the ground. After a Week 11 bye, he'll be a high-upside QB2 the rest of the way.

Jake Locker completed 9-of-21 passes for 122 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Titans' Week 10 win over the Dolphins. Making his first start since Week 4, Locker was rusty in the passing game. He was high with a lot of balls and appeared a little skittish in the pocket. But he made big plays with his impressive legs, scrambling four times for 36 yards and did lead the Titans to a dominant 37-3 win. Locker didn't even play in the fourth quarter thanks to the lopsided score. He'll be a solid QB2 candidate when the Titans come out of their bye against the Jags in Week 12. Locker's athleticism, arm strength and aggressiveness is appealing.

Jake Locker (probable, shoulder) practiced fully again Friday and will start in Week 10 against the Dolphins. Although Locker's inconsistency and streakiness make his Week 10 performance thoroughly unpredictable, his return should be a breath of fresh air for the Titans' offense. They won't have to dink and dunk anymore and have a mobile threat at quarterback. Locker should be secured in most leagues as a high-upside QB2, and he gives Kenny Britt a brighter second-half fantasy outlook.
