Willis McGahee (torn MCL, I.R./designated for return) is eligible to resume practicing next week.

A forgotten man in Denver with Knowshon Moreno effectively shouldering the running back load, McGahee has been sidelined since November 18 and is now six months removed from the knee injury, in addition to a broken leg. "All indications are [McGahee's rehab] is on schedule and he's getting better every day," coach John Fox said Friday. "He won't be ready here anytime real soon but we'll evaluate that as we get going and finish up the regular season." McGahee is eligible to resume playing in games if Denver makes the AFC Championship.
