Williams caught three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Buccaneers. With Sammy Watkins (ribs) not playing, Williams and Robert Woods worked together in two-wide formations. Williams and Watkins were the duo in the first two preseason games, but Woods could challenge the former Buc for snaps. Though his stats haven't been all that impressive, Williams is having an encouraging preseason, as he has frequently commanded E.J. Manuel's attention in the red zone. Come Week 1, it will be interesting to see how the snaps are divided between Williams and Woods in two-wide sets. Williams seems to have the edge, but Woods has the advantage of youth and is coming off a solid rookie season.
