Vikings placed TE Kyle Rudolph on injured reserve with a fractured left foot, ending his season. The Vikings needed room to sign another tight end after John Carlson's Week 14 concussion. Rudolph, who just turned 24, hadn't played since Week 9. His third NFL season ends with 30 catches for 313 yards and three touchdowns. Although Rudolph doesn't run the seam quite as well, he's flashed Gronkian ability as a red-zone target, catching 12 TDs over his last 23 games. He'll resurface as a potential TE1 in 2014 if and only if the Vikings upgrade at quarterback.
