The Jets placed Decker (shoulder) on injured reserve Wednesday, and he is expected to undergo season-ending surgery.

Landing on injured reserve is not the automatic season-ender it used to be, but Decker will require a several months to recover from the procedure to repair his torn rotator cuff, and will not be able to recover in time to take the field again in 2016. With Decker out, Brandon Marshall figures to continue getting plenty of targets on a weekly basis, and Quincy Enunwa will continue starting opposite Marshall for the foreseeable future.
