The Akron Beacon-Journal predicts Colt McCoy to stick as Brandon Weeden's primary backup.

The Journal refers to "recent signs" that the team is leaning towards Colt McCoy over Seneca Wallace. Those signs include coach Pat Shurmur "gushing" over McCoy during Sunday's news conference and McCoy's noticeable strides during the offseason. Unless Cleveland receives a strong trade offer, it figures to stick with the younger, cheaper McCoy.
