Shaughnessy (knee) is expected to take the field Sunday against the Chiefs, the Cardinals' official site reports. Sidelined since Week 5 due to a knee injury, Shaughnessy rebooted his involvement in practice on Nov. 20 and is poised to take over one of spots at outside linebacker. Before he can return, though, he must be activated from the ID/designated-to-return list, which will likely occur before drills commence Wednesday. While the Cardinals have racked up 18 sacks over the last four games, his pass-rushing prowess will still be a boon to the defense as they push for a playoff berth.
