Seahawks DE Chris Clemons believes he'll be ready for the regular season opener Sept. 8 at Carolina.

Clemons suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee in the playoffs, and had surgery in January. Most ACL injuries take nine-to-12 months to recover from, and Clemons will only be six-months removed from surgery when training camp starts July 25. It's a positive sign that Clemons appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery, but we still doubt he'll be cleared to play by Seattle's opener.
