The Bills released Roberts on Saturday, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

Although Roberts was released, the team plans to re-sign him Sunday and roster him the entire season. The move is likely related to the salary cap, but the Bills don't want to lose Roberts, who averaged 26.6 yards (fifth in the league) on 25 kickoff returns and 8.0 yards (10th) on 28 punt returns in 2019.
