Rams placed QB Brady Quinn (hip) on injured reserve, ending his season. Quinn was signed in Week 8 and spent the last three games inactive as the No. 3 quarterback. Austin Davis will continue to handle backup duties behind Kellen Clemens. The Rams have promoted CB Quinton Pointer from the practice squad to replace Quinn on the active roster.
