Head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Carson (neck) plans to resume practicing and return to the field Week 10 against the Packers, after Seattle's Week 9 bye, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Before gaining clearance for the Nov. 14 matchup, Carson will first have to clear a number of medical hurdles. After all, Carroll said as recently as Friday that Carson could be in danger of missing the season. The starting running back's neck injury has kept him sidelined since Week 4. Quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) is also a candidate to return from injured reserve ahead of the game in Green Bay.
