ESPN Panthers reporter David Newton believes WR Tiquan Underwood is currently one of the top-three wide receivers in Carolina.
That is more an indictment of Carolina's receiving corps than anything else. Underwood is more suited to be a depth piece and situational deep threat, but he will be asked to do more for a Panthers' team in desperate need of wide receiver help. Underwood has a shot to surpass his career-high 440 receiving yards this season.
he did pretty well last season as a starter on a bad team. not saying he is a 1k yard WR but saying he can hold his own and be productive. would like to see that rookie step up and be a beast in the short to mid range game.
