Eagles coach Chip Kelly made it clear on Monday that Michael Vick will have to compete to retain his starting job for 2013.

Despite speculation otherwise by one Philly radio host, Kelly also confirmed that Vick's contract was not restructured to make him more trade-able. He's being brought back as a competitor to start. Kelly hinted, though not adamantly, that Nick Foles will return as Vick's primary competition. "There's an open competition," Kelly said. "Nick knew every step of the way what we were doing." Look for the Eagles to add Dennis Dixon to the roster soon, as well.
