Cowboys position coach Gary Brown believes DeMarco Murray has the potential to be an "elite" running back. Murray's biggest obstacle will be staying healthy, as he's missed a total of nine games the last two seasons. In the games where Murray has played, he's averaging 4.8 yards-per-carry with 1,560 rushing yards and six touchdowns. "We all know that the injury bug has bit him a little bit," Brown said. "We have to keep him healthy, and he and I will work to just refine some things. Obviously he is a good, talented runner. We just want to shine up some things and get him to be elite."

potential to be "elite". they have been saying that about any and every cowboy for 15 years now.

He didn't start til game 9 of last season and was banged up this season! Came true about Dez Bryant, so now what!!!?? If fat little 6th round draft pick Alfred Morris could be an elite back this past season, Murray has MORE than a chance! Murray reminds me a lot of Dickerson. If he stays healthy, he'll be a 1500 yard 10+ TD back! BOOK IT!!!

fat little Alfred Morris...? Seems a bit contradicting but what do I know.

riggs is a hater, lol. he hates skins and i hate cowboys so we go back and forth a lot.

i know all about Murrays story and i was referring to the whole team. so i stand by my statement. what does Morris have that Murry dont have? a coach, a run blocking line, a QB (and i know you are about to go off on how you hate RG3 but Romo is only great in games that DONT COUNT), a real GM, an improving defense. dallas has none of the above. potential is great, have all you want.

The Bills sucked but Spiller was great! A player like Murray can shine even with all of the sh*t around him. If used right and he stays healthy, Murray is a top 5 RB in the NFL right now, easily!

i agree with all of that except that spiller could not keep it rolling for 16 games. as average as the boys are, they need that shot in the arm. does the coach have the good sense to feed him the ball 30 times a game? call me when he is a top 5.
