Coach Mike Munchak said Monday that the Titans have no plans to bench Jake Locker. It's an admirable show of faith from Munchak in his second-year quarterback, but it's obviously troubling he's been forced to give a vote of confidence after only two games. Locker has been highly erratic through his first two NFL starts, converting 38-of-62 passes for 403 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He's struggled with his decision-making, and displayed scattershot accuracy despite an acceptable 61.3 completion percentage. The Titans are unlikely to have a quick plug with a player they desperately want to succeed, but Locker would do well to have a strong game against the Lions.
