Chargers 2011 third-round pick Shareece Wright handled first-team reps "throughout" OTA season opposite Derek Cox. Cox is locked in at one corner, and Wright is the heavy favorite for the other job despite playing only 120 defensive snaps in 2012. It's one of the weaker positions on San Diego's roster. If the season began today, Wright and Cox would be the first-team outside cornerbacks with Johnny Patrick entering in sub-packages. Eric Weddle and Marcus Gilchrist would be the starting safeties.
